Damn thing undervolts the ram :| Can't get much higher with tight timings, and looser timings don't seem to score as well.

Esch lemme know how that does, although I think you'll still be vcore limited and have to do a vmod anyway. I found that laxing the timings did alot :| Keeping them tight produced the best scores consistently.

I'm gonna relax a bit and just play some games and whatnot, with all the new hardware coming in I be watching some movies too :)

25k is very difficult on the intel platform. remember how long it took for macci to get there? with a v-mod on the radeon and another 200mhz on the CPU, i could see high 25k's as an absolute maximum for that system.

25k was hit with 9700's, IIRC. He's got an XT. ;)

highest score i can find for a 9700pro is 24470 with a 2.6ghz A64.

sorry to dig up an old tbird thread, but here's when macci broke 26k, and he was definately using a massive 9800 overclock for that, so i think it probably took a 9800 to break 25k as well. http://www.sharkyforums.com/showthre...&highlight=25k

25k should be quite easily done with the hardware and cooling methods he has...

i'm not saying he can't get 25k. with vapochill it should certaily be possible. i just don't think you can get 25k on a p4c and a 9700 pro without some insane clocks.

right, but xduck had mentioned that he thought 25k was done on 9700s. i think it would take a higher FSB (something like 270mhz) to break 25k with his video card clocks, i don't know if 250mhz is enough.
