A lil update on my lil Conroe OC -
CPU: E6600 Conroe
Speed of CPU:2.88Ghz
MotherBoard:Asus P5W DH Deluxe
Ram: 2x 1GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800
Video Card:7800GT
Actual Core of Video: 468Mhz
Actual Mem of Video: 1096MHz
Cooling Used: CPU:Zalman CNPS9500AT GPU:stock
38360 : http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9019515
Phase change broke in shipping and lost all its gas. I was going to ship it back to eschbach for repair but kept putting it off. Wasn't looking forward to the shipping ;) Now with Conroe on the way it will probably be sold. I'm not going for absolute maximum overclock this time. Maybe I can get 60K though :)Quote:

I might replace all the drives with a single 750GB. Unless 3.8 is very very stable I'll probably shoot for 3.6Ghz 24/7. Now 4Ghz+ may be benchable when I have my window AC unit on it and take out 2GB ;) I'm not doing any hardware/droop mods. The problem is FSB is luck with 975/965 boards.

WOW!!!!! That rig redefines a gamer rig!Quote:

You could always send me yours... I wouldn't mind. I'd even think about paying for shipping from wherever it is you are. ;)Quote:

okay i think im having a problem with 3dmark05. i barely get a score of 3000. is this normal? i play all my games in 1280x1024 with 2x aa on including doom3. i didnt expect it to be sooooo low. also when i overview my computer on the website it says my memeory speed on my vid card is only 9mhz.......huh? i dont know. any ideas?
btw im running the tweaksrus 91.45 video drivers...
If you're running with the system in your signature, then yeah, that's around normal for the card. And 3D Mark is a little buggy with the reading of the card speeds. I wouldn't worry about that. If you want, you can use the coolbits hack to see what clock speeds you're actually running at.
even when im running high end games at high res and stuff? even fear runs perfectly smooth. huh. well okay. whats the normal 3dmark everyone uses these days?Quote:

Max ingame setting w/o soft shadow? AA/AF? My 6800U struggles somewhat @1024x768, almost max setting w/o soft shadow and texture @med, 2/4xAA + 4xAF. Now with more ram and an improved CPU/GPU, I get away with max setting (no soft shadow), 4xAA/16xAF @1360x768.....pretty good FRs on the whole.:)
i ran fear at 1280x1024 with just about max everything. no aa. it couldnt take it.
well i dont feel too bad now. i have the 3rd highest score in the database. not too bad. im just now starting to overclock. and by the way it wasnt 3000.....my apologies it was 2300. oh well. my goof
my 3dmark2003 is only at 5700...hmmmm
3D Mark 2006
Score: 5916,.

Most of my games play just fine tho,.
:: Too small and quiet, must be my SFF,.
only if I had a 'real' case !
Invalid project ID. :p I'd expect it to play games just fine. X2 4200+ and X1900XT. Yeah. :p
Whats the deal with 2k1 #1 still not being broken? I'll have to take care of that soon.
Eric
And then I'll take care of it soon after that. :pQuote:

My video card will probably lag yours in nature no doubt. Either way we will probably both be over or near 60000. I've got better odds with the 10x multiplier though :DQuote:
