I'v also heard the PC version can be difficult to get working. This was last year though.

Good games but but on the higher end of the hard scale.
As tempting as gta and red faction are....I am going to stick it out for a total war and/or borderlands deal. I still have steam Xmas items unplayed (mass effect and assassins creed)
I have GTA IV on my PC (E6600) and while I do have to turn down the detail it runs just fine. I'm not a graphics whore like some are though so YMMV.
EDIT: I ended up getting the Borderlands General Knoxx expansion because a few dollars isn't going to make a huge difference for me at that price point.
