Must be something wrong with your setup... My stock 2.66Ghz with my GF4 4400 was over 13k...

I would make sure you have the nVidia driver set to Performance and not application... That was my first mistake IIRC when I was benchmarking it :)

Also dont use the latest drivers :) That is atleast 1000 points in the hole...

I always had the best luck with 40.72 and 45.53 or something like that.

LOL, had the newest drivers available (though tweaked to performance settings), XP updated, and 9.0b. All which "usually" drop 3dmarks a certain amount.

Though it doesn't really bother me. Its my lil brother's rig now. I wanted to see what it would hit fully updated.

Alright, got the 2500+, NF7 2.0, and 9700 Pro installed. Dl'ed 9.0b, 4.1 cats, set driver settings to performance, and did afew XP tweaks. No XP updates and everything at stock speeds. Hit 14870. Good enough for me. :)

did your friend ever get that to flash to an ultra? still waiting for scores compared to your 9800 pro ;). pyro, nice stock score, now how does it do overclocked? can you break 17k with that?

yeah, he got it flashed, but I don't believe he's received it back from his friend yet.

Yep, building an A64 3000+ setup, an Abit KV8-MAX3 OTES and the '5950U' OTES - why do I keep getting OTES?:D Gonna run a coupla benchmarks at default and OCed - both 01 and 03.;) But don't hold your breath T'bird, you really donno how lazy I am.:o just want a nice gaming rig. Making plans to sell off my 9700Pro - the '5950U' will eventually go into my Intel rig - either that or my 9800Pro goes into it as I'm really tempted to get a Triplex (sp?) 9800XT.:D C'mon, somebody, talk me outta it!:D

All the good vendors are leaving. Well, at least we have BFG, I doubt they will switch, considering they formed because Visiontek switched (went bankrupt whatever).

The Triplex Ti 4600 that came in the suitcase thing was ridicuously rad.

I'm still pissed at myself for not buying one.:mad:

I saw the Triplex 9800XT in a cool transparent plastic case and I fell in luv with it.;) It's an original ATI card but Triplex just 'stamp' their brandname on the card.;) It's cheaper than an original ATI 9800XT, but it's still a hella price!:eek:

BTW, great move by Triplex moving to ATI, GO ATI!:p :D

Mmmm Ati -- finally getting my card back from RMA today. Been suffering without it :\

OpStar -- do you know if any nVidia drivers are capable of running in the new Win64 beta? Wanna test stuff in it :)
