That's exactly how I ran it for the 12k score

I'm surprised that a GTX scores that much higher then a GTS in 3dmark even when you ran the test on a lower clocked quad core rig ( where you got like a 13k+ score or some such).
lol now I'm kinda hooked...I wanna break 12500...somehow haha

Find the max recommended Vdimm for your memory at the makers site. Try to tighten up your memory clocks. If you're running just two sticks, see if you can run with a T1 command rate. Try to run 1:1, FSB to DRAM

Well, I finally got a handle on how to OC the P5K SE. I think I'm somewhere near max'ed as this is the cheapest of the P5K series mobos. Maybe I'll try again this weekend.

Highest core was 54C during CPU test. Highest GPU temp 75C during Firefly graphics test.

Did some minor overclocking, CPU is now 100mhz higher and GPU is about 10 higher and got a 12088

don't think I can squeeze much else out of this rig number-wise. Seems the GPU is the limiting factor at this point.
I'll step my GPU down to 620mhz range for daily activities, but the CPU can keep on cooking at 3.6, it's pretty stable and temps stop at 69-70 if I'm running Orthos95 on 4 cores ( remember, the Xeons have a higher temperature threshold). Besides, it never get's nearly as warm if I'm gaming.

Well, I gave this plain-jane mobo another chance and did manage to do a little better. Was Everest Stability Test stable at 400x9, 3.6GB but couldn't run 3dmark06 for some reason :(

So far so good. In my latest bench the hotest core was 54C w/CPU @ 3.492. I continue to recommend it and its very easy to apply and remove. Works at least as well as AS5 or better. Maybe this competition will force AS to come up with something even better :D

mikey does do the updates and as OS stated, I havent seen him around in a bit either.
