AZ is a trendy pick to finally get somewhere every year, but they keep disappointing. They're bound to keep getting marginally better with a tradition for top-5 picks, but this won't be the year they bump Seattle.
Wait, wait...a "tough division"? The NFC West?Quote:

Wow. And just when I thought Merriman was nothing more than an arrogant, egotistical linebacker, he proves to everyone hes a downright idiot.
FOUR doctors tell him to have surgery. What does he do? Ignore them and tell them hes gonna play. Whats he trying to prove? That hes some big tough macho man? I know this sounds mean, but I think Ill let out a little chuckle in the first game when he shreds his knee and has to be carted off the field.
Hes only entering his forth season and already has knee problems. He has plenty of years left in him if he sits out this season with the surgery. Im sorry to any Merriman fans, but this guy is a total douche.
Yeah, that's pretty ignorant of him to do that. The guy is a freakin' machine and frankly he could by toying with his carrer. I guess if you're going out - go out on top.
I can't stand Merriman. The very epitome of a steroid monkey. As stupid as they possibly come.
The PCL is suppose to be VERY difficult to repair. And steroids are suppose to make the body weaker (as far as "repair" goes). I hope that he shreds it... and I think that sometime this year he will. It's already weaker than it should be.
I make jokes about hoping a guy breaks his leg or something, but I never honestly wish injury on anybody.Quote:

I have bets with friends on when he'll get injured...I took week 6
Maybe he meant tough as in all the teams suck so bad that you'll never know who's gonna win hahaha.Quote:

We arrogant a-holes need to stick together. ;)
I don't "dislike" him, but there are certainly better people in the league. I do like watching him play though - what little we get to see of him in this area.Quote:

If the chargers want him for the future they should probably bench him, unless this is the last year of his contract and they don't care if he's gone.
