I just heard some analyst on tv saying that the bills were the team in the afc east to beat, with brady being hurt.
I sure am glad they air some ****ing awesome games... like the jets/dolphins and the 49ers/cardinals... its not like there are any games on with teams that had WINNING RECORDS last year.
As a charger native, I am just crushed at this last second loss. *sigh*...

Well my fantasy team got killed today. Welker didn't do anything and I picked the LIONS defense over the BEARS. Why? They were the easy pick IMO. I never expected the Colts to have trouble with the Bears. Hell it was on the front page of msn.com today, something like "Colts going to slaughter the Bears?" Meanwhile the Lions give up 30 odd points to the freaking Falcons, what a bunch of chumps.
Meanwhile my competitor has Willie Parker w/ 3 TDs, Randy Moss with 116 yards + TD, Reggie Bush w/ like 160+ total yards, etc.
I got owned pretty hard for week 1.

I was not riveted during the weekend football. I hope tonight is not a sleeper like the arizona game. I'm glad Farve won as a jet. Honeestly, GB would be better off with him. We shall see tonight. Then The Raiders will show if they can win a game for a change. Since Shannahan expects them to run run run. I would start the game with a pass. I was cheering for Pennington to get that final TD and beat his old team. But there's only so many things Miami is capable of.
I wouldn't wish injury on anybody, but this Brady injury is very interesting to me, as I've always been incredibly curious about something - with the Pats having a history of plugging has-beens or never-wases into random spots and having them succeed, would the same be true at QB?
It has always been my opinion that they wouldn't lose too much with somebody else behind center. Guess now we're going to find out.

I'm however very disappointed with espn...they had the entire summer to talk about favre...they've talked about him every week in pti...around the horn...sportscenter...etc...and yet they still devote the entire first half to him...I swear they have a harder time letting go of favre than packer fans...not to mention the commentary is rather meh...
