HAHA,
I have hardware boxes all over the place too, heh.
Hey stang, did you notice any improvement in temp when you switched the intake fan position? I was thinking of doing the same thing with mine.

as in switching the fans to my HSF?
i noticed about 10 CFM more airflow until i broke a fan blade on my side fan then i experienced 80 CFM less lol
I ran '06 again, this time with a little more OC on my CPU and raise the mem on the vid card -

Joint 1st spot with OS, now, IF only I can OC my CPU to 3.6ghz, that'd be awesome.....should be kicking down 20k with that.
Just ordered my 2 EVGA 8800GTSs and my EVGA 780i will be here tomorrow or Thursday. :D
Can't wait to post some numbers. :D :D :D
I'm happy. :p :)
Blah.
I just tried 3DMark06 on my rig, and got around 4800.
Me thinks my video card might be holding me back. :(
i wish i had a job lol
You should be able to do at least 3.4, probably 3.5 with that mobo and cpu cooler. I'd guess 18.5 or 19K. Upping NB voltage should help you do the deed.Quote:

i know i just haven't updated in a while since it was only a 3 point improvement
but i think i will update soon cause i didn't have my pagefile set right
Wow, that's pretty cool stang... Grats! :D
thanks
whats better is that 3 and 4 are me to haha
the other 2 have a cpu clock of 3150 and the top one was 3129 i'm going for a 9900-10000 on tuesday night to wednesday morning cause wednesday is the only day i don't have baseball games on
So here's my first 3dmark with some quick OCing of my new setup.

1. You're on XP......no fair!!!:p
2. Gfx score scale with higher CPU clockspeed, your gfx score are better becoz the GPU scale better with your dual core @3.375ghz. I really ought to move my butt and try to get mine pass 3.3ghz to see 18k or higher.

I should get my TT Duorbs in next week and I'll do some more serious OCing and tweaking at that point. Hoping to see some real nice numbers then. :)
yes i finally need a new cpu lol that or a bios update from this piece of **** 1302 bios that won't let me get it stable at 2.1(stock speeds)
edit i also afro americanized an 80 mm fan onto my video cards

I could not get the system stable at anything above 3.7Ghz. I'll sit down again at a later point and try again though.
OS-Wiz, what were your voltage settings at 3.9Ghz, if you don't mind sharing?
congrats jerk lol j/k
amd finally looks like its coming back with the B3 stepping of the phenom its beating the Q6600 in sub benchies should be here soon with the 9950 coming in june and me finally maybe getting a job
Done! 'Grats on taking #1 spot from OS......hey OS, let this NOT go unanswered!;) Me? I'm too lazy to unlazy my lazy butt to bench, I prefer to laze away....:o :DQuote:

I do have to admit that those G92 GTSs are nuts. At that OC they were warm at best, with stock cooling.
just wait till i get a job lol ill save up about 3 grand and kick all of your arses
even though it will take a year and a half at minimum wage lol
Congrats, good work, nice OC. If I remember correctly, I was running 1.4125 Vdimm. CPU never got over 55C as I recall. The GTXs were running about 75C. I'm just sitting around waiting for Nvidia next gen cards. Enjoy the ride on top; fame is fleeting :DQuote:

I'm glad you're waiting. I was fully expecting to be dethroned by the end of today, lol.
Oops, I posted incorrectly. My Vcore was whatever Intel recommended as max + .02v due to mobo Vdroop.Quote:

I'd be more than amazed if you'd boot your system with 1.4125 Vdimm, if it even was possible to set it that low.
