and nice scores oz_soth!
WOW!!! That's all I can say, oz_soth. 26.4k for '01! 8.4k for '03! Damn! VERY nice work there, can we expect more? :D
Oh yeah, I've updated your scores for both 01 and 03.;)
great scores oz_soth!:D
I am debating about a MACH I, since a MACH II doesnt offer anything special over the MACH I, which I would probably have changed over to R404 or something....
Do you guys think it would be worth to buy? Or is it just for braging rights?
I need to talk to the wife.. She went out shopping today at target.. I swear, I never seen a woman spend more in one spot at such a low-end store!!! She came home and had me unload the car.. Over $800 worth... Damn that woman!
I am already at 240x16 on my 3.2c which is about 3.8Ghz for 24/7 and 1.60v.. Which isnt that bad...
I assume with water or prommy, I would probably break 4.00Ghz for 24/7 (hopefully) use... I wonder if it would be stable over 4.00Ghz for 24/7 use...
I would GUESS that a prommie would get you over 4Ghz pretty easy, depending on your chip. All you need is an extra 10Mhz. You'd get to 250Mhz, and get to use a 5:4, and keep your timings tight. That's for 24/7 use. I imagine you'd be able to bench @ ~4.2, maybe even 4.4  if you can get it up to 275Mhz (doubtful).
Hey, if your wife can spend 800 at Target you can spend 550 for the Prommie :P You are the one with the screwdriver ;)
800 at Target? I didn't realize there was 800 worth of stuff in that store to buy all at once, LoL.
Thinking about a Mach I eh? Who told you to do that :p
BUT on that note I think you should use your water cooling setup you have on one of your other boxes :p
A Mach I does sound like a good idea, and a 4.0ghz P4 would be nice... but for the price of the prommy you coudl get an A64 3200 adn an AN50R and a decent HS/F, overclock to 2.3ghz easily, and run faster than the P4 in games, leaving the AMD as your gaming rig. Then you could put your water on the 3.2C, get it a little faster than it is right now, and have one killer gaming rig and one killer multi-tasking/media/productivity rig.
No offense, But a A64 now would be silly :) With a new socket right around teh corner.. Also not having a locking PCI bus is rather stupid...Quote:

I dont think I would notice the frame rate difference in games.. But I feel a P4 at 4.00Ghz would be faster then a A64 at 2.3Ghz :)
