Nothing exciting here guys, but I just wanted to publish the last score I got before I sold off my P4 rig. Heck, atleast it puts me back in 4th for a little while :D This was the score I got when I fried my super 9800 pro and had to go out and buy a new one that got nowhere near the clocks of the old one. Man with the old 9800 pro I would have been 24.4 no prob. Oh well, I will just lurk and wait for some hardware that excites me to come out :D
CPU: P4C
Stock Speed of CPU: 2.8 GHz
Overclocked speed of CPU: 3.9 GHz
MotherBoard: Asus P4C800-D
Ram: 2x256 Mushkin PC3500 LII at 2-2-2-5
Video Card: 9800Pro
Stock Core of Video:380
Actual Core of Video:490
Stock Mem of Video:338
Actual Mem of Video:390
Cooling Used: CPU: MCW462, gpu: MCW50-T
Score 23835
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7719331
Now I am going to bench this Celeron/440MX rig just for the fun of it. Any guesses on what my score will be?
Nice score, good to see you get off your bum and at least publish your old best here. Yeah, 24.4k+ would have happened for you without question with your old card.Quote:

What did you do to fry your 9800Pro again? Was it a water mishap? I forget, just want to try to avoid the same mistake.
As far as the Celery/440Mx bench, you got me. Definately post and let us know though, I want to guess low teens, but I am really clueless.
celeron + 440 at stock shoudl be about 5k i think... with some good clocks on both, 10k is not out of the question.
Ok step away from the crack pipe my friend :D :D I have never seen a stock 440 mx hit 5k and that was using a P4. I scored 2800 stock and I'll OC it tomorrow to see if I can hit 4KQuote:

Mike, I screwed it up when I was taking the shim off. It was a rookie mistake and I wanted to shoot myself when I did it. Way back in the day I blew up my first 9800 pro when I had a watercooling leak, but that one doesn't count cause I was a newb then. Just keep doing what you are doing my friend. Those are some damn impressive scores you are putting out with your rig.
For now it's back to my Celeron
Just for the hell of it, I did a 3DMArk run with my 9800Pro, scored 18.9k with cpu at 210x10=2100mhz and my 9800Pro at stock.;) Here's the link :

Hmm,....... should I go after my previous best score?
Edit : Just ran another test, A64@220x10, 9800Pro@434/345, got a score of 202xx, just a lil more and I'll own my old score!;) :D
Just ran 01 again and scored 20614! Woot! Woot!:D Specs are as follows :

So, who gonna update my score?
:p :D
Hey ranger, I've updated your score but you gotta do something for me - put a link to the team site in your sig. ;) I know it's been a while, but, have ya forgotten already?:p :DQuote:

don't you think that's a little low? i get 19.9k stock, you should be well above that with those card clocks and 2.2ghz on the CPU...Quote:

:p :D
also, my score now shows no game tests... it was fine for 3 monhts, i don't know why it would do this now... futuremark has been contacted, and i'll see what they say.
i was getting 4k on an mx440 with a tbred 2400, i figured the celeron would be faster if it got up around 3.4ghz with the mx440 at stock.Quote:

Hey, your larger L2 cache does make a diff!:p Besides, this isn't a fresh install, just uninstalled FW driver, ran regedit and installed Cat 4.3.;) I have lotsa crap installed in my rig and I don't wanna go for a format.......:o I noticed all the previous benchmarks lack game tests, whaddupwiddat?!:confused:Quote:

Futuremark updated their db at the end of the week. They know there are issues with any '01 score submitted before the upgrade but felt it better to put up something rather then nothing. Any new scores will show all, older scores will whenever they fix their mess.Quote:

will it be faster now? it's always been painfully slow for me.Quote:

25.2k dude, that's pretty nice... Ordered a new AN50R today, so i should have it by the end of the week and hopefully i can get up around 25k as well... of course i'll be hoping for 30k+ in a month or two when i pick up either an NV40 or an R420.
I hope they get it going a little faster, it's even worse now while they don't quite have it working.Quote:

Thanks on the 25.2k, I'm pretty darn happy with that, actually have a 25.3K to upload. I want to hit 25.4xxk before I update my score here. I don't know if I can get it, but if you do an Orb compare on P4, 9800Pro, FM approved, Fugger is the next guy up. Even though he's moved on to other h/w I'd like to pass his score. Btw, check out truextreme.com if you haven't, that's where the other half of xs went. Both sites have crappy b/w now, and tx is not well known enough to get a lot of activity yet, but it will.
You know I'm wishing you well on your own 25k push. You'll probably beat me to the next milestone after that. I won't do the video upgrade until I get my (most likely) 939 mobo and cpu, but I'll want to let the dust settle a little after that stuff gets released so I can make some good choices.
you and your cooling + 939 A64 + Nexgen VC = front 3 pages (top 60) 3dmark 2k1?Quote:

i won't be going 939 until august/sept but i'll most likely pick up an NF3 250 754 board somewhere along the line. i think i'll stay on air for a while though, it makes it more challenging, since i have the temperature battle to fight, whereas you guys on phase have that variable all but eliminated.
