The whole site is dynamically driven with PHP pages parsing out MySQL data.

You will need MySQL as well as the original PHP pages to set it up properly.

I've been using my_dadabik for database updating. You should use PHPMyAdmin to manage the MySQL database. I have a "sharkdb.sql" file which can create and populate the MySQL database through PHPMyAdmin.

I could zip up all of the files and email it to you if you wish.:)

Or better yet eschbach, I could still host it on my new server and turn over complete control to you for maintaining it. (depending on the level of control I have over security on the new server but so far it looks good)

Not at all Mikeysg! In fact I'm checking out the new server now and I have already uploaded the old site to it. DNS has been changed and should point to the new server in a few days.

With my new host I can create an FTP user and lock them in to the 3DMark section of my site.

It should still be the same with updating and everything.

If I can easily get it back up (seems like I can) then I will bring it back to the current functional level and then turn over FTP access to eschbach and add him as a user who can update like you mikey.

So it should be simialr to now. I just don't have time anymore to be responsible for the site in anyway.

About me losing my 'job', one can always hope, right? :p :D :D

well i submitted an 03 score on the last page, but i don't know if you can update under current conditions.

Updated! ;) But I decided not to edit your cpu speed coz 2.3ghz isn't your best, 2.4+ghz is....so I'm leaving it alone. Nice score btw, but, don't mind my asking, why is the driver not aprroved by FM, I thought all ATI drivers are, or didcha use an Omega driver?:confused: Don't mind the question, just curious, is all......:o :)

i used the cat 4.4, it must not be approved yet. it could be the bios on my card causing some trouble too, as it's an XT bios on a 9800NP, :D

you can leave the cpu up there if you want, i guess it doesn't matter... you could change the RAM though :)

They don`t even consider the Cat 3.7`s certified either, I just overclocked my video card, because I had to backoff my cpu overclock, because of it causing problems with UT2004 and when I run the 3D Mark 2003 test it said it was not certified. Anyway with my video card overclocked to 400/360 I got 5783 with it set on quality settings.:)

DOH!:o Missed your ram update earlier eshbach, but I've updated it as well.;)

Lone, that's a pretty nice score for a 9800NP, it edges out my default 9800Pro score - something like 56xx IIRC.:)

thanks for the update, all mushkin top 3 now.

Database is now down. I'm working on getting it back up.

Holy crap that was surprisingly easy. We back up and running on the new server.:)

EDIT---perhaps I spoke to soon. It's up and running but it won't let you go off page 1 on any of the rankings. Apparently it's a difference in the code. I'll have to work on that.


UPDATE---It appears that none of the PHP variables declared through links are passing to the next page. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........

I did finally get everything working again though. The problem was that the new server doesn't register global variables due to security reasons. I had to rewrite the way variables are passed to make it work.
