There's a running joke among Hawks fans about Qwest Field having been built on top of an Indian burial ground. (that would explain a few things.)

But the freaky bit is that their new practice facility, the Virginia Mason Athletic Complex, may actually *have* been built on top of one. Time to change the team name to the Seattle Poltergeists I guess.:o

EDIT: and after looking it up, it's actually 12 injured starters, some of which will hobble out there and try to play vs. the Bears. :/

Terrible pick for the Raiders. I had wanted them to take Calvin Johnson instead. He was/is a physical BEAST. Freakish typle player that doesn't come across often.

And that year there was a decent free agent QB that I thought that the Raiders should have taken instead.

QBs are just about the most risky pick that you can take int he 1st round. Especially to a team that's as bad as the Raiders were/are.

Stafford has kind of impressed me. Not a lot, and he's throwing hella picks, but for getting accustomed to playing in the big boys league he's not too bad. Especially when you consider he plays for the Lions.

Hey, even Peyton threw a ton of picks his first year. At least it shows hes not afraid to try and throw it in there. I mean, the Lions are not going to win much anyway, its better to make mistakes and at least learn from them.

You gotta go to the game apparently. You know its sad but truuue! The NFL is a money making business like any other and wants every penny, like they should, out of you.

They just want to make sure enough people pay to see the game before they let everyone else see it for free. Fortunately for me, the Packers will sell out every game until the planet explodes.

Oh well, on the bright side, at least everyone else in the NFC West looks like @ss. That's something, anyway.

Well I wouldn't have gone to see the Redskins either, so I can understand how they didn't sell out. :mad: They should have mercy rules and still show the games when they know no one is interested in buying tickets to see the game because the other team is meh.

Redskins are my NFC team... can't believe that they are so crappy so as to allow Detroit to beat them.

Didn't get to watch any daytime games yesterday, was working outside. I'll watch tonight though, I hope Julius Peppers sacks Romo like 47 times.

Unless Roy Williams has some monster night I'm about to go 0-3. And I lost my money league too, 1-2... this is easily my worst start in my fantasy career.

As a die hard Raiders fan for years, I hate to say it but we have to get rid of JaMarcus. He is just terrible and is costing us games and TD's every week by his terrible passing and looking down receivers that lead to picks.

His salary is so high though we can't afford to keep him as a backup, he needs to be cut/released. I know its hard to justify getting rid of a recent #1 overall pick, but its time to cut our losses and move on. Russel hasn't gotten any better since his rookie season, and the coaches even said he has been "regressing", we just have to face the facts, he is the new Ryan Leaf without the big mouth :(

I say give Bruce Gradkowski a chance, no one knows who he is (hell no one knew who Tom Brady was either until Drew Bledsoe got hurt), and he might turn out to be a decent QB, god knows he can't be worse than Russel.

Hell anyone who followed the Raiders in pre-season knows that Gradkowski looked better than any of our QB's, and his solid play alone was the very reason we released Jeff Garcia.
