I have finished 2 2500 WU's workin on another 2500 and a 500 right now :D. 500 is at 73% and the 2500 is at 19% :D.
I wonder....
Would folding produce a mixed result of completion time like SETI?
Where one WU can take 2.5 hours while the next can be 1.25 hours?
Or is it more standard... If you get the same type of WU then they will all take about the same amount of time to complete?
EDIT:
Im not talking about the WU that finish early due to errors or whatnots.
They're pretty much the same. I've done over a dozen 344's and they all took the same time with a variation of less than 15 minutes.Quote:

Hehe, I just got one thats only 250. Should be a breeze, although prolly not many points. But I just turned one of the 2500s. I use my main rig alot, while folding so I think I'm prolly kind of slow compared to alot of you guys. My 1GHz Duron sys is pumping away unused except for folding.
You can not always tell with the 250`s, some of them take about as much time to do, as some of the 2500`s.:)Quote:

Things are rolling right along. The team should be into the 300’s very very soon. And I should see 7000 over night. If KoTiC finds one more system he should start closing on me, then we’ll have some real fun
Keep up the good work and fold on.
Whoa I just noticed that later tonight we'll be passing up team Microsoft:eek:

Don't worry, I update it once daily ;)Quote:

Now they have F@H integrated into Google's toolbar. Anyone tried it yet??

I'll check it out tomm as I should be on my 4th WU, yet I'm still not listed. Our team # is 34149 right??
34149, yup:)

I think that if you use the Google F@H toolbar integration, that you'll be automatically be listed as folding for Google only. If you look at the top of the Chart on Statsman's page you'll see that Google is the #1 overall user group by far with over 100,000 members.
Ona good note I see on that page that we went over 4200 Pts for the day.:D
Somethings very wrong. Try this look in your log file for this:Quote:

If you're not listed under team 34149 you've got to re-configure and re-boot if you are than sadly I think you're going to have to pick another name and try again. Or delete and re-install the client. Its very critical that you select the team # prior to beginning your first WU
I keep dropping WUs, even running at stock settings. Getting partial credit I guess but I'm just not sure if I'm actually helping the cause.
Bump the vcore a notch; that usually helps. Even Thermo reported his FX-51 was dropping WU's at stock. Partial credit certainly is better than no credit of course. But full credit is definitely what everone wants
i know this should be in the hardware section and dont want to get this thread close but.
I am wanting to build a new server :D. Should i go for a dually machine? Of coarse the main reason i put it in here is i am and will be running F@H on it and i kinda wanted to know which cpu will turn in more wus. single p4 w/HT on or dual AMP's? The cost of a AMP 2400 dually is about the same as a 2.8ghz rig give or take a few dollars.
More or less it will be about the same performance wise too I think. I'm sure if an HT'd P4 is truly twice as fast as a non-HT'd or not. If pricing and ease of use are there, the dual AMD's might not be the wrong choice
well does RH9 support HT :D. So you are saying that if the costs are around the same go with the p4?
No the dual AMD's. Dual AMD's truly are 2 cpus. HT only mimics 2 cpus and again I'm not certain an 2.8HT truly double the output of a 2.8 without HT. Then again if you OC'd that 2.8HT into the mid 3Ghz range...
lol well i dont plan on o/c something thats supposed to be some what stable for F@H perposes.
