yea that catch wayne had was insane.

The giants....the season is over, losing a 21 pt lead to the titans. Eli is horrible, I wanna see the hefty lefty lorenzen in. Plax really needs to stop being so whiny and man up. This is the 2nd time he didn't even make an attempt at defending an interception. He could have at least tried to make a grab for the ball and play defense so it wasn't intercepted, he was righ there he could have put out his long arms to deflect it. But, he just let pacman catch it without any effort and then didn't even wrap him up.

As for kiwanuka not tackling vince, I know he did it to avoid a penalty since he thought the ball was gone, but it still pisses me off. Also, a couple of times kiwi got into the backfield but he cut into the middle and vyoung ran right by him on the left. I can't believe the giants didn't have a spy on him until the 2nd to last play of the titans field goal drive when they kicked the game winner.

Very arguably, if you're referring to Merriman. I still don't think he should have been defensive ROY last year, but no doubt he's an animal with a great career in front of him.

plax defends picks like randy moss does...yesterday brooks threw a pass and randy didn't even go after it, he just watched it go by and almost end up in the hands of the defender (florence), it's almost as if he's playing for the other team half the time... I can actually see him catching the ball and handing it off to a defender, and then blocking for him.

Sorry, man, but I'm cheering for Green Bay in this one. I thought they would be better than everybody thought, and I want to be proved right. :D

The main reason they were so utterly terrible last year was injuries. I knew if they had even half the number of injuries this year, then they would be much improved. Weren't they starting a running back last year who never even started at the Division III college he went to?

I'm rooting for Green Bay only because of Farve. 13 straight years of starting in the league...truly amazing. If only he had some talent besides Driver on his team.

F. Gore, right? I know he was the starter for much of the season last year there and he did great...or was it S. Gado?? Now I just confused myself :confused: And yes, I end up cheering for GB all the time just because of Favre as well.

Favre? What about him. :cool:

I think GB has some really nice players, just not enough of them. As a whole, not a very good team. Seattle's awful tackling in the first half made them look better than they were.

On another note, i think it's time the Green Bay fans retired the silly headgear. You're annoying and proud, we get it.

No, Gore was on the 49ers. Samkon Gado was the Green bay running back. Remember that guy, got 3 touchdowns in his very first game, and then hasn't do anything since.

Definitely not. Gore played for Miami in college, and he actually beat out Clinton Portis until he blew out his knee, then the next year he beat out Willis McGahee, and blew out his knee AGAIN. Definitely not a D3 runner. :D

For some reason i just love it when it snows or rains a bunch during football games. I dont know why it is more fun to watch but for some reason it is...any of you feel this way?

Random comment insertion: Being from Indy... I laughed that Vandershank was traded off to Dallas. Turns out they didn't want him either and have cut him lose. The radio station I was listening to as I drove into work was talking out him.

"He tried to hang himself with a rope but wasn't able to kick the chair out from underneath him."

Poor guy. How could he go from being so good to that bad? Sucks to be him. Colts better without him anyway, perhaps Dallas will be too.

What a little *****. I hate people like that. All talk and no walk... or in his case kick. He sucks. Hands down. Maybe he'll figure out how to kick the chair afterall lol.

Yea I agree, i love football in the snow. Last night's game was fun to watch with favre airing out the ball, the snow, and the turnovers.

It's also easy to "kick" someone when they continue to talk smack about how good they are week after week and never back it up. He's 29th out of 36 in the league as far as field goal % this year. He can't even hit 3 out of every 4 field goals, including 2 misses in the biggest game of the year (and his former team), he's never been great at kickoffs, and he goes around saying that nobody should be worrying about it? Odd, I didn't get the impression that he was "talking smack" in the articles that I read. I'm starting to wonder who is the one delusional here.

Owens is really just way too hard to get a bead on. At first I was almost floored when he said something along the lines of "yeah, he's missed some field goals, but he hasn't cost us a game yet. I've cost us a game or two, and I'm still here." I thought I must have been hallucinating or something because I didn't think he'd ever say something like that about himself. Then, about a second later, I realized it didn't really sound all that out of character for some reason. I'm not really sure what to think.

Anyway, on one hand, I enjoy seeing him struggle, but on the other, ever since Romo came in and started throwing to him and getting him his yards, I've been able to listen to talk radio here in Dallas for longer than 5 minutes without them talking about him. The Romo love fest is starting to get pretty old, though.
