The engine seems kinda janky. Turn shadows down to Low and you'll get a huge increase in performance. Though for me I wasn't getting 60fps.

This is where I got my information from.
No issues with my Nvidia but OMG the camera sucks.
I found it but it seemed not to change anything... I'll try it again.
thanks for the info, i'll tweak the shadow settings later.
It was originally an issue with AMD processors. I got free retail NWN2 with my. 8800 GT and it was all janky on my AMD cpu. Same thing with my NWN diamond edition. Built an intel system and nwn2 worked ok. I tried to play nwn diamond with my intel/ati sysyem and the main character would be missing, but his shadow not. I didnt bother trying to fix it and uninstalled. Now i will reinstall diamond and turn shadows off. I always wantes to run all the expansions.
Played NWN2 on my amd/ati rig and I saw no issues in the first 15 min of the first act after the tutorial.
Seems to run fine for me.

I think the totals ~$100 US. I have 2 accounts so I can buy European and Australian games. I did buy many Valve packs for guys at OCAU so I did spend like 400$ but I got the money for the Valve packs.
They currently have that Penny arcade game on sale for 2.99. Anybody have any positive thoughts on it and also I'm not 1000% sure but I think I read that it's an unfinished story. There should have been another episode but never came out?
I personally really enjoyed the humor and the old school style adventure/RPG elements. I'll agree it's a bit slower than something like Costume Quest, which it generally has a similar vibe to.
*Edit: If I'm not being clear. I'm all for purchasing the games if you don't have them. $2.99 is definitely worth it in my mind.
King Arthur is 2.99 (85% off). I played the demo and it is a pretty fun game. Seems like a Fantasy version of Empire Total War. I'd say it is worth a go.
I was thinking about this last week as I am rereading The Lord of the Rings books for the umpteenth time. Tolkien took all the good names. I sure would not want to have to come up with new Fantasy names. Many of them just seem absurdly fake to me these days:

While that's often true, generally the crappier games have crappier names. And that game is a prime example.
I always found the names in BioWare and The Elder Scrolls games to be very good. Sometimes a touch generic, but that's going to happen eventually at times.
Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition is on sale today on Steam at 75% off, making it a steal at $7.50.
I'm going to have to finally pull the trigger I believe, I've wanted the game for awhile ever since I played the demo, but my back log of games has always been too long to justify the purchase (actually my back log is still huge lol), but at this price I think it is a steal.
