He will not survive long having to play on "Revis Island" 2 games a year. I also could see a T.O. like blowup, having Henne as a QB and playing on a team that runs the ball as much as anyone.

Marshall never whined about his QB's, ever. Most of his problems were off the field. And the biggest one he griped about was that a rookie RB (Nowhere Moreno) was getting paid 5x the amount that Marshall was. And another problem for him was the hip injury and how Shanahan dealt with it. Both were reasons to be pissed off royally so I can't blame the guy. I mean, he's one of the best athletes in the league right now and what Denver was paying him is crap. He had all reason to be pissed. Was how he handled it at first childish? Yes. But he shaped up after the whole "punting the ball away from the ballboy" incident and played great. +1 million for Miami and grabbing him on a steal of a deal. He deserves being the highest paid receiver in the league AS LONG AS he doesn't mess up off the field anymore. In that case he's screwed.
The guy was playing with Kyle Orton, I don't think playing with henne will be much of a problem. Never know though, obviously he's not going to be kittens & rainbows. He'll at least be happy with his pile of money.
Rumor is Rams offer 2010 and 2011 1st rounder picks for Big Ben.

You may be right, but I wouldn't be 100% sure about that.
Now that they actually have a legit receiver, that may change some.
Also, Dallas in the 90's ran the ball a TON with Emmit Smith, and yet Michael Irvin still managed to put up some really good numbers. Miami running the ball a lot may open him up for some more for play action passes.
He may also benefit from some big plays being THE receiver out of the Wildcat.
I also wouldn't assume this.
While Revis is awesome, there are times when a prime time receiver makes a prime time corner look like a rookie. I saw Deion Sanders give up big games occasionally.
What a ridiculous, ridiculous trade that is. They could take Sam Bradford and not have to deal with the dumbest QB in the league. So far he's busted his skull riding a motorcycle without a helmet and sexually assaulted some ladies and who knows what else.
The Steelers should push for the trade since they will get the far better deal.
LOL...when can anyone be 100% sure of anything with sports? I am only posting an opinion. As for assuming, in the offseason what else can you do but assume?
Revis shut everyone down last year. Held Andre Johnson, who I and most consider top 3 if not the best, to 4 catches for 35 yards. Moss to 4 for 24, and then again for 5 for 34. Steve Smith? 1 for 5 yards. He shut down everyone he covered for the last 2 years. Until someone gets him, I will continue to make the safe assumption he will take his guy pretty much out of the game. Especially when the guy is playing with a lesser QB.
Exactly. You can't. It's all speculation.
But as usual, you didn't present it as that. You come across as stating it as fact. No "maybe" or "I think" in your posts.
Oh I don't know... maybe use a "IMO" or "I think"? I'm just sayin... :pQuote:

That's VERY good, but that was those players... then.Quote:

Who knows what Moss may or may not do against him this year.
And he never played against Brandon Marshall. A VERY large and physical WR. Coincidentally, in the past he's admitted that Braylon Edwards and Terrell Owens have both beat him for TDs on fade routes because of their size. Who knows... *MAYBE* this is a weakness? Marshall is a fair amount bigger than Moss (6'4" 230lbs vs 6'4" 210lbs) and a shade bigger than Johnson (6'3" 225lbs).
Also, one of the two only TDs that he gave up last year was a bomb to Ted Ginn Jr of all people. On MNF of all games. Not exactly a quality WR IMO.
Not to take away from Revis because I think that he's amazing. But I for one will not be *ASSUMING* that he'll be shutting down everybody this year. But you go ahead and do just that if it pleases you.
Your assumption will end up being wrong at some point. Even Deion Sanders... one of the top cover corners ever... had bad games. And IMO, Revis is no Deion Sanders.Quote:

Ginn Jr to the 49ers now for a fifth.

What a bust too. Not surprised Miami traded him but surprised the 49ers gave up a fifth for him.
I'm no Ginn fan, but he's easily worth a 5th round pick. His return ability alone is worth a 5th, he single handidly beat the Jets last year in one of their games.
I would think its pretty obvious a statement made about a sporting event before said event takes place is an opinion. It cannot be a fact simply because it did not take place yet. Unless you think I believe I can see events before they take place, in which case either you are insane or you think I am.
