o/cing doesn't have to mean your PC's not stable. :) the bottom line for F@H and c/cing seems to be voltage (>as saps has pointed out numerous times<). i've locked up at lower temps that what i have now, before increasing the vcore.
if you're feeling ambitious and want some dedicated folding rigs, try a diskless folding farm. :D
awesome! i signed up and i'm on the team (but haven't showed up yet) and i have my main rig and a pentium 3 600mhz running folding@home... soon i'll have a pentium 4 2.4b to add to the team :D
edit: my pentium 3 b0x's first WU is 2500... that's goin to take forever... however my amd b0x got a 500 and it's flying through it!
lol yeah i was kinda thinking about that BUT i am having trouble convincing my parents to let me buy this dually :/. There idea of a computer is if they cant chat, play cards, or serf the inet its useless. Any tips on how i can get them to let me get all the stuff :D. Ive done tryed the crack or computer idea but it didnt work :/. BTW if i do get this 2400+ mp dually where would yall think i would stand on the team for processing power? I already got 3.06ghz lappy 1.33ghz, 1.4ghz t-birds crunching. yall think i could give thermo a run for his money?!?!?!!?

Make sure your AMD rig is optimized, I think there is a good read in the F@H Problems thread.
edit: We broke 400! Right now're 391...conquer on:)

to get the SSE boost, in windows use the "-forceasm" and "-advmethods" flags in the shortcut command line. read saps's Howto again linked in my sig. you might have to reinstall the client and/or reboot, not sure how that works in windows, but first try making a new shortcut with the proper flags. if that doesn't work, reinstall & reboot.
