I think it would be very ironic if everyone is chanting for a playoff system, then they vote Michigan for a rematch after they've already been "eliminated."Quote:

As for the nfl, let's go g-men. The season relies on tomorrow.
they had their chance against the #1 and they lost, that means they cannot beat the #1 - why should they be afforded a second chance when someone like Florida hasn't had theirs?
Thanks a lot NYG, now Dallas is tied with us in the NFC seeding. ;)
I bet Vanderjagt would have missed that game winner too.
Wow, I'm wondering if Coughlin is kicking himself for not kicking the fieldgoal on 4th and 1 inside 2 mins in the first half. W/ the game tied and your defense keeping romo in check, I would've kicked it. They deserved to lose.
Dallas can just about sail through their remaining schedule, too. I'm not sure what it is about living here in the Dallas area that makes me hate the Cowboys now, but I do.Quote:

Cutler definately is playing as I expected...looks like Plummer taught him for a while. And that fake field goal at the end of the half ***!? Why would you do that to a 40+yr. old kicker and injure him????? Elam has been one of if not the best kicker in the league for over 10 years and now it looks like he could be done.
Dangit, I've been worried about this game all year and now the offense is playing dead. Seems like every other game they play like this, that's no way to get back into the playoffs.
At least it's still close but I want a win here more than any other game this year. My hatred of the broncos goes way back to the early 80's :p
Hey good call Hasselbeck--just throw up a prayer somewhere in Bailey's vicinity. He's only the best DB in the game.
I'm a Bronco fan and now I'm thinking to hell with the score and forget the game.
I'm just praying for Al Wilson.
Yep, I hate to see anyone get hurt like that no matter what team. Well, excluding maybe Joey Porter.
A win here is a miracle imo, Hass' busted hand and all. Now it's down to whoever gets the next FG.
No miracle needed when the Broncos turn it over 5 times.
A rookie QB in his 1st start...5 turnovers...16 deg......the only miracle is how the Broncos took it down to the last play before losing.
Ugly game from both teams.
How many games is the Broncos special teams going to throw away? Serioiusly, every single loss we have had our special teams makes terrible decisions or fumbles, lots and lots of fumbles. I don't put any blame on Cutler for anything EXCEPT that one bonehead interception. Shanahan has lost his touch recently.
Well one game won't determine how good/bad Cutler is. He's a rookie and it shows. The big test will be to see how he bounces back from this.
On the NY front, Eli Eli Oh, while having a decent game, looks nothing like the 3rd year QB that everyone thought he'd be, especially the giants.

Cutler will be fine, he just looked really jittery and that's to be expected when you debut a new QB. btw, I hope Al Wilson is okay!
yeaaaa cowboys :D:D:D:D:D
Something I heard on the radio today that make me like the Jags even more - apparently, they're something like 17-2 under Del Rio when they're winning a game at the end of the 1st quarter. Once they get a lead, they just smack a bunch of teams in the face and go on to win the game. I'll come out and say right now that my favorite teams that are in contention right now are the Jags, the Ravens (who are my favorite team overall), and the Saints, though I think the Saints are working on borrowed time and won't be as good next year as they have been this year. Additionaly, I don't really like the Bears at ALL, and I don't think they'll go far in the playoffs unless they get home field advantage (which they are basically assured of at this point).
I'll try to make a detailed analysis tomorrow or Sunday, and I'll post again. I like to make my predictions before the playoffs even start, so that way if I end up being right, I look like a super genius. :D
Saints are going to get smacked against the Cowboys.
The bears are the most overrated team of the century. They ought to go far with that all-pro grossman at qb.
The cowboys are the best team in the nfc and come playoff time that will happen. The cowboys can beat anybody except teams in their division, lol.Quote:
