same story with me and my 400w psu with 13amps on the 12v rail, I couldnt oc my ti500 nor ti4200 without my comp crashing. with my antec 430w and 20a on the 12v, this fixed the problems! I had though my ti4200 was dieing, but it turned out my old psu sucked! now that you got the issue resolved, can you try 266fsb for 4.2GHz on the cpu with your ram 1:1? then max your cpu and try to run 1:1 if not 5:4 and see what you get on both counts in 3dmark. I say 28.5k

Is it because I benched last night at my max cpu speed, and am trying to submit it today at only 25xx mhz? Is that why the speed variation? I don't understand this...Or is it because I used 8rdavcore to give me 226fsb(which my bios doesn't have the option to do).:confused:
if you used 8rdavcore AFTER opening 3dmark it will give you speed variation error. make sure you overclock befores tarting 3dmark.Quote:

Before running '01, check '01 control panel - if you cpu speed is, say, 2442mhz, but it shows as 2.55mhz, forget it! The diff in speed between control panel and actual cpu speed is too great, you'll not be able to publish. If the diff is only a few mhz, go for it! :D Happened to me quite a few times when I was trying to break 20k a year back...now, I always check before running '01.;)Quote:

holy crap, that's insane.:eek: It says I'm at 2.46ghz when cpuid and all those say i'm at 2.536ghz. How the heck can I ever publish anything with a misread like that? Not even using 8rdavcore or anything right now, only straight up bios settings.:( :confused:
I ran my 20552 benchy at 2717mhz, but I didn't check what the control panel said. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait for another cold night.:(
Perhaps DX9.0c does something for the newer cards, I just ran '03 under not the best of condition.....and scored higher! With a fresh install - formatted my HDDs, I scored 10985 at stock. Now with crap programs running in the background, I scored 11191 - DX9c/FW61.77. Wonder if I can break 13k....:confused:
