I don't understand why everyone is so surprised with the Cowboys sucking. The roster is "top heavy" with talent, and that makes them appear to be more talented than they are. They have 4-5 really good players at the top of there roster, the middle of the roster is mediocre and the bottom part is aweful. Depth is important as you say. And it appears that Jerry Jones still hasn't figured that one out. Which is exactly why I think that he's one of the worst owners in the league. Because he meddles too much.
