Default test, 11199 points, don't even try to break this score unless you got lotsa cash and experience with modding boards ETC. Crazy stuff!

Is that at 1024 x 768 x 16, or 1024 x 768 x 32? Thats just seems a bit high for no card overclocking, and just a little on the CPU.

That is 640x480. I assumed the idea was to get the highest number possible at whatever settings. My "default" is @7978. Obviously there is a big difference between the two. It seems that all the high numbers at madoninon are using the 640x480 for obvious reasons. I have gotten over 8,000 default, but the stability was not there.

The idea is to get the highest score at the default bench (1024x768x32) All of our scores that are high here are scored from the default bench.

I get 29xx with a Radeon AIW with a 1.2 Athlon on A7V133, nothing overclocked.

I get 6318 with my Radeon 8500 OEM using 1.2Ghz Athlon, 256mb Crucial, MSI motherboard with KT266 chipset, in Win98.

Used to get 1927 with same setup but with Voodoo 3 3000 AGP card.

My friend gets 6830 with a Radeon 8500 OEM using 1.2Ghz Athlon, 256mb Crucial, Epox 8Kha+ with KT266A chipset, in Win98. Seems the new VIA chipset is worth an extra 500points.

Another system I just built scored a 2603 with a Nvidia GeForce 2 GTS 32mb, Duron 950mhz, 128mb Crucial PC2100, ECS K7VTA3 motherboard with KT266A chipset, in win98. Built for $300 (with leeching old HD,Cd-rom, and floppy out of old Compaq)

No overclocking on any of above systems and run on default bench.
