Mount & Blade Warband is a bit addicting...I woke up with my face on the keyboard this morning in the middle of a siege of Sargoth..I think I played it 6 hrs straight. I've got a little fiefdom, and am currently courting a couple people, have some noble prisoners, and a massive war party. The single player is pretty intense, but crazy as well because you have to figure everything out on your own.
That's pretty hardcore. I just started playing the single player for Warband last night and I'm enjoying it so far. It's definitely a lot gentler getting started than Mount & Blade was.Quote:

I heard somewhere that a new version of the game is coming out soon that upgrades a lot of it. Haven't looked into it myself yet, but it may be worth checking out before you buy just to make sure this weekend deal isn't a fire sale on an outdated version.Quote:

Blood Bowl is a pretty solid game and I would recommend it for $10. Just be aware that the game is a VERY faithful adaptation of the tabletop game and can also be brutally difficult.
I played Blood Bowl. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are a big fan of the table top game. Its not particularly fun and gets repetitive. The table top game works fine because you have a friend to trash talk while playing but it feels bland playing by yourself.

Wow...a large star wars pc game collection for $50.
Just got knights of the old republic for 2.50. I had it on the original Xbox, but my original Xbox bit the dust. So glad to be able to play it again.
Empire at war is todays sale. I am actually considering it.
It looks like age of empires, but there's no review for it from metacritic. I need more information on what it is. The game description sounds good.Quote:

I watched a video review and just didn't seem good. Looked pretty easy. However, all the battlesounds and such were typical star wars, so that was good. I'll stick to my other RTS games I have. Relic pretty much owns that genre for me. DoW, DoW II, and Company of Heroes. I'm good.
