[B]Guess it got covered, didn't know there was one. It's on a P4 1.8a OC'ed to 2.4 and a Newegg special 230/230 flashed to the OEM 250/250, then Overclocked with powerstrip to 290/290, sound reasonable now?Quote:

Hey marv, hows the rest of your system pan out? I have been unable to crack the 8000 mark on my 1.4ghz, kt7 raid.

I only asked because no matter if I use defaults or not and whether I have anything OC'd or not it always tells me I'm not using "defaults".
Also.. just ran with Det 27.51's.. score went up 100 points from 6632 to 6732.
Screenie's here:Quote:

hmm...for your specs that seems a lil low...nothing major, but still low....when i built my system (see sig) it would almost pull scores of 8500 at stock speeds for everything....maybe try updating your drivers, the 23.11's work great for me....your machine should definately be able to crack 8300 at stock speeds

Damnit... i need DDR so freaking badly!
Also, im too lazy to try out which drivers are best for me :p .
Just formatted Win XP and came back to
Win 98SE
DirectX 8.1
Detonators 27.42
No Overclocking/ No Optimization
All default settings
3dmark2001SE: 6202
-TT-
That's a good score for your setup. When you say no overclcoking is that only for the Video Card or for CPU too?Quote:

Any news on 3dmark 2002?
my old irongate classic won't even run 3dmark2001...the new system does 6832...overclocked of course :D
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) @ 1.44 GHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 200 230/475
Total Physical Memory: 512 MB
7011 3DMark Se
6841 with stock speeds on 8500. :D
SSXeon
a pitiful 2605 is my best...although its not as bad as it seems. I can play Quake3 or castle Wolfenstein great at 1024x768x32, so I take 3dMark scores with a grain of salt. anyway, here's my compare URL http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare2k1.shtml?2846222
P3 850 @ 1020
512MB @120
geForce2 MX @ 220/190
thats all that matters...

my highest was....9009. only thing OC'd was the vid card at 280/580. system specs below:
Abit KR7A-RAID
Athlon xp 2000+
256MB Micron PC2100
Visiontek Geforce3 ti500
Win xp Pro
Posting a really good score w/o a published link is begging for doubt. However 9000+ w/ NW2.4@133FSB + R85@290 sounds "reasonable."Quote:

But daaaammm, you got an OEM R85-230 to do 290? I repeat, daaaaaaammmm! Overvolting? What's the memory speed on the card (ns)? Inquiring mind wants to know.
I bought the Newegg 230/230 (3.6ns) and with powerstrip it max'ed out at about 255/255, if I recall. So I figured if it would run at 255/255 why not flash the BIOS to a OEM 250/250, which I did. After the OEM BIOS flash, it now will crank up to 295/295. Maybe I just got lucky, no other modifications were needed to the card.Quote:

It's the memory (3.6ns), mine came with Hynix 4ns clocked at 250. They wouldn't do more than 260 without creeping artifactism (heat buildup) With added sinks, as2 doctored epoxy, and tlc I can run at 270 forever w/o arti, but obviously not enough to retail flash. Your GPU clocks higher too. Mine gets bugged at around 286. Sound like you might be running at retail voltage already. Pretty coo.Quote:
