not bad, I bet with like 2.1v you can hit the magical 3GHz barrier and get at least 22k marks, maybe even 23k :D

i'd be the first athlon xp 2500+ at 3ghz i think if i could get 2.1 v but this *** dfi board maxes at 2v
you could mod that then or buy another nf7 motherboard which goes to 2.2 or 2.3 I think. how high did you max out at 2v? im hoping at least 2.95GHz
blue screened at 2.95 so i'm gonna try and tweak it
show us a prelim 3dmark at 2.9GHz, if you can break 22k at 2.9GHz then your on your way to 23k with win2k and 2.95
can't do it right nowi'm having problems with temps. MY DFI board shows the cpu is at 10C while the lcd is at -30C. And i'm not overclockign as far as i should be os i think the BIOS is right.
make sure you are getting good contact, it seems like the evap head is cold but some of the cold isnt getting to the cpu me thinks. how low does the bios go anyway? I think 0c is as low as it goes
just to give an update:
my new setup is scoring about 25.4k stock, which is about 600 points higher than before with no additional tweaks. So far, however, I can't get past 3.16 vdimm and that's killing me. My best score so far is just under 31k. I may need to vmod the 3.3v line pretty soon.
anyway, i have basically 0 time to do anything now that i'm at school. in the past 3 days i've been to 2 beach parties, a house party, 2 clubs, and a who knows where else.... college rocks, so right now 3dmark just doesn't seem as appealing as it once did ;)
worry not, i'll have a score before too long.
lol, sounds like life is good! Been busy as hell lately myself. I got the new board installed, on air, and that's about it. Need to get off my butt and hook up the evap, figure out how to cool the vc since the DFI chipset cooler is going to interfere with the Maze4 pelt, and whatever else I need to do to get a good session in.Quote:

Still looking forward to your scores though. :) Nice to hear you picked up a boost from just switching boards.
31.4k at 255x10 average run...
258 might be the max for my RAM on this little voltage.
Mmm, nice, just did a unoptimized run (winxp/dx9.0c with only a couple of tweaks) on everyday cpu settings (235x10) and oced vid (567/592) and only got 27675 :\ Maybe if I get unlazy I'll try harder to get 3rd or something :\
Soo.. can you get unlazy and show us your best? :)Quote:

Be tough for both (getting unlazy and getting 3rd) hehe.
