First off, sabrewolf732, welcome to the team! Ryder congrats on another nice update!
OK, I got an update. I really wanted 35k bad, but I just don't think another 200 points is left in her. I'll probably have another go this weekend though. You wouldn't believe what I had to put that poor video card through to get even those moderate mem clocks. :D Poor thing would only go to 565MHz on stock voltage in AtiTool.
Here it is, DFI kicks Epox's butt btw.
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3700+
Stock Speed of CPU: 2.40 GHZ
Overclocked speed of CPU: 2.86 (260 fsb)
MotherBoard: DFI LANParty UT NF3 250GB
Ram: 2x256 Mushkin LevelII PC3500
Video Card: Asus X800XT-PE
Stock Core of Video: 520
Actual Core of Video: 655
Stock Mem of Video: 560
Actual Mem of Video: 641
Cooling Used: CPU: Prometia MachI GPU: MCW50T w/172W pelt

Got 1 of my 2 goals, just barely. I wanted 35k, and I also wanted to get on page 1 of the Orb. Just got there, filtered by only best score by user of course. :)

good god 212 marks shy of 35k! Thats gonna be real hard for eshbach to match! I thought your ram volts was being fed off the 5v rail? hold tight eshbach, winchesters are out, with one of those you could probably match him. Yes I know there 512k cache, just get em over 3GHz and your good to go. dont worry about gpu clocks, its just a nature boost, only 20 marks per fps too.
if a buy a new chip, that means no phase change... i haven't found a job here yet, so i have to decide what would be better.
MIKEAD_99 ROCKS!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D
front page of the ORB, excellent work... and 2.8ghz on the chip
which bios are you using for your X800XT, because i got a really old one from the web and it has helped my clocks some (got my mem up to 654, which could give you a boost in nature).
i might just publish my 31.6k score now and wait to decide what to do before modding my PSU (i also haven't found an electronics component store here and they're b*tchy about using things from the lab for personal projects).
Ryder and Mike, you're both updated! In the case of Ryder.....I must add 'again'.:p :D Jeez, those are real impressive numbers from you guys, rock on dudes!;)
Thanks for the update Mikey. :)
@ eshbach, thanks! I'm sure I'll fall off page 1 in a day or so, but I did get my screen-shot, lol. VC bios, eh? I'll have to look into that, I'm using Asus' stock shipped bios. I never think to look at that and a little mem boost might help the 35K cause. Whatever your next move is, I'll be a sitting duck here for a while. This machine rocks at anything I want to do, until I know I can get an appreciable performance gain, I won't want to dump it.
have you tried for 16k in 3dmark 2003 yet with your new x800xt clocks? congras again too! show me 31.6k eshbach. sorry for leaving so abruptly, got disconnected. I was gonna say ill go winchester for now and ill decide later what video card to upgrade next. the 6600gt agp verson may be out late or never. also supposedly ati is getting out the fudo r520 and perhaps rv520 which could be a 12 pipe, 256 bit verson as midrange. its their first try on .11u so of course they have some issues but in a few months maybe they will be golden, also they will have ps3 too. both my ti4200 and softmodded 9500np arent bottlenecks anytime soon and I dont care for aa/af so basically its for 30k 3dmarks that I need a faster gpu :p
here's my lowly air cooled score:

it's only 1x256 on this run
FSB is 256 not 252
look good other than that :)

edit to add: @ TBird, I'll go for an '03 score this weekend. I want to setup a Win2K/DX9 partition to see if it helps any. A64 takes quite a hit in this bench compared to a P4, 16k is looking pretty far away atm. Makes no sense to me since A64 generally crushes Intel in gaming, kinda raises some test validity questions to me. Maybe 3dm05 will level out the playing field again?
