Sony bought shares of Square (I think they own 19% of Square stocks), but they aren't the majority share holder. This will act like a sort of dog leash, so Square has to always tell Sony what they are planning to do before they do it. Even if Square wants to make a game on a console that's not by Sony.

FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW WHAT A ESRB RATING IT IS WHAT YOU SEE ON YOU GAME OR BOX THAT SAYS MATURE OF EVERYONE.
