Is anyone else having problems submitting scores to madonion? I get stuck at "waiting for response" everytimr I try to submit my score, I tried waiting a few hours, giving the occasional try in between, but can't seem to get my score submitted :(
BTW my score went from 11,719 to 12,235(and I had to lower my RAM from DDR400 => DDR300 :() with the new drivers. Hopefully they haven't messed with IQ or anything, or tried to pull any ATi stunts. But I'm sure there has to be something sacrificed.

But as for the drivers themselves, I didnt really notice any image quality loss. Any my 3dmark when up from 10779 to 11241 ( I was kinda expecting more from what some ppl posted ;) ) Also I like this new menu :D

It took me at least a dozen tries to get a score uploaded today...they're way overloaded...give it a try again in a couple days...I hope you saved your score ;)Quote:

It seems that the default 0x anistropic filtering in direct x is actually point sampling... change it to 1x and the image quality goes right back to how it was in old drivers.
i dont know about any of you guys, but i can't play cs at 1280x1024 anymore!! can anyone try this out and see if i'm just trippin, or if i'm actually right? it's so weird, it plays cs, but in a window with my desktop in the background. weird **** :confused:

Here is a link... that compare is from the last run I actually Uploaded... when I updated my drivers I tried to upload it because I got like 10,7XX... I dont remember the exact number. But yeah... its with my SIG AS IS!!! NO extra tweaking or anything. :).

Well it certainly seems a big factor in the raised scores is an obvious lowering of the IQ. Nevertheless, I gained well over 600 point on my first run and am now well over 13K. Still gotta load it up though.
I need to give these a shot once I install my new chip.

Phew and I thought it was just me . I have the same problem , like when you use that resoltuin you play cs but all the wya on the top you can see the desktop right ? Anyway to fix it I jsut lowered the resoltuion to the one under it , forgot numbers.The one beetween 1024x768 and 1280x960.
LoL wow i'm surprised i'm not the only one :D the thing is, i was gettin to really love 1280x1024. i was getting so 1337 with it! ;) but o well, looks like i'll have to use 1152x864 :cool:Quote:

This new driver is still beta status and WHQL pending. New features are: 1. 25% performance increase. 2. lots of crap options including CineFX. you know CineFX is what Nvidia is pushing to developers for their upcoming NV30 card. My guess is this is their stepping stone for future driver. I dont see any reason to update to this driver unless you have Geforce4. Yes, I m conservative and I don't want to turn my pc into a Nvidia beta test station.
