For a professional finish, polish and wax :)Quote:

Turtle wax (seriously) works very well with it. I doubt you have any of that lying around if you don't have any car wax lying around.
Just saying. :)
Mequire's non-abrasive polish is good for that showroom shine, then finish it off w/ a good wax for protection. Mequire's, S100, Turtle Wax are all good for a computer case :)
started in on it again, just sanded it down and put on the second coat. reflection is coming in pretty well, but there's a bunch of rough spots and bubbling. i don't think i'll be able to get rid of them without starting all over with some 200-400 grit, so i won't worry too much about it.

won't come off - probably have to sand it off.

yuck.

not too bad, especially considering i haven't used any rubbing compound or wax.

tu2, I would have sanded it down to the metal then primed it. That silicon might give you hell in the end. Hopefully the fans will cover it all up. :pQuote:

it's giving me some trouble because i'd already cut holes for my 2x 120mm side fans, and the silicone i used to glue them on won't come off .
see, i wanted to leave the etching on it so that it'd be easier to keep the paint from scratching. eh, it's a moot point now.Quote:
