I beat both Mechcommander 1 and 2. Altho my copy of mechcommander 1 crashed just as the outro movie was loading... every single time.
OMG u finished Blood 2?!!?!? I played that one for weeks before I gave up. I must of been 75% of the way through, but the levels became repetitive and boring. I mean jeez, I was like "Please be the final level... please be the final level...pretty please with sugar on top" I really, really wanted to finish that one. Now I cant be stuffed to find my last saved game, or even remember the story.Quote:

Dude, I am such a big fan of the Fallout series and Jagged Alliance. I played Fallout for months on and off. And when the 2nd one came out, I couldnt bring myself to play it without completing the first. As for Jagged Alliance 2, I bought that game the moment i played it all day at a friends place. I played it for 3 weeks continuously (1hr a day sometimes 6hrs on weekends) But then I moved house, would you believe? My PC got reformatted and I haven't played since. (I just remember how long it took me, its in the too hard basket to do again)Quote:

Okay seriously, today:
Completed:
Fallout
Fallout II
Jagged Alliance 2
Jagged Alliance UB
Dark Forces I & II
Baldur's Gate I (YAY!!! 2 years, 2 computers, 1 hd fail!! Finally!!)
Still playing:
Icewind Dale
Operation Flashpoint
and some other new ones.
I've finished every game I've started except for Nocturne. Once you've played games like Serious Sam and Ghost Recon, you can't be bothered with the crappy controls and slow play of stuff like Nocturne.
Edit: I forgot about Unreal Tournament. I wanted to reinstall Windows, and I decided to not wait until I finished UT. It was fun in the beginning, but its "GO! GO! GO!" pace got to be a bit much after a while.
Games should be short and cheap. Maybe and 2 or 3 hours for $10-$15, that way normal people can finish them. With things like work, School, friends, family, etc not everyone has the time to put into games. Games are getting longer, yet our time is getting shorter. I am lucky if I can get 20mins a day to play games, it sucks but our lives move so fast these days.
--LOL 3 hours.
Gee, bet your're not a RPGer :).
3 hours would be like a short intro IMO.
I beat every episode in that except for the first one :DQuote:

Since when can you beat Quake III and Unreal Tournament? They're really not single player games... really they're not. All you do in Quake III is open a few tiers (whoopty-freakin-do).
:p
I get into a game and have to finish it, then it takes me a little while to find something else I am interested in. Although, I think I have finished Civ2 about 400 times.
Love the sig...Quote:
