That would be no, because you're using your own toppings which you paid full price for. In the end you still paid full price for what you got. These are two different situations. In this situation, you bought something for a low price, but added more flavor at your own cost, just not from BK. When you overclock you don't pay for the extra performance, at all.
Pretty dumb analogy if you ask me...
Same with CPU...investing time & money in labor, cooling, etc
Wrong.Quote:

This was brought up to "mock" those who start deadend threads...and to point out why moral/legal issues should never be discussed in a computer forum.
People do what they do. No justification needed.
I agree, but I hate In-N-Out frenchfies :( I like my fries crunch...Quote:

might see if icna get one of these since compusa is right across from a in-n-out and i'll need some food after black friday
edit: i'll get it with like 15 less patties...
That's right. Because One (OC) is legal and morally not wrong, while pirating software is illegal and morally wrong. it's that black & white.Quote:

Wail all you want.:D
And by the way: I am dang tired of supporting the lazy behinds of you glorified Software Robin Hoods. I, as a legal, paying customer, carry YOU, who doesn't feel it's necessary to pay for software.
I remember that kid who ordered the 20/20. Sick. That kid was my hero, albeit my fat hero.Quote:

EDIT: Oh, and I-n-O fries are the absolute worst pieces of cardbox tasting piles of mierda I've ever tasted. They shouldn't even be called fries. They should be called chopped cardboard.

OMG guys, you need to go to a Good Times (only in Colorado, mainly Denver), they have the best fries EVER. I swear, they are damn good. In-N-Out with Goodtimes fries = secksQuote:

Also, I heard that guy shat grease for like 4 days afterwords
I just have a couple of things to say.
Thundergod, your analogy was useless. It proved nothing. If you bought the burger, then went home and put extra **** on it, you still paid for that extra ****. By putting the extra **** that you already paid for on the burger you already paid for, that does nothing to detriment Burger King.
As far as overclocking being wrong, nah, and I am not so blind as to not see that Guru is indifferent about it, he made this thread to prove a point, not to state his opinion.
And his point was not well taken by any of you, it was by me though. The point is, you are all very stuck up on your morals, especially about games and software piracy. Sure, it's stealing, sure stealing is wrong, who gives a ****? I don't. I don't seek out people who download games and harp at them about it. Now, on the other side of the coin, when I see people saying that Valve is doing something wrong by banning people who are trying to play a warez version of HL-2, that plain out pisses me off, and I will give them a couple of words to take home. However, people who download games are not evil, and they are not comparable to someone who robs banks and **** like that. The problem is, a lot of you make them out to be.
By the way, harping at warez-monkies wont stop them from doing it, they'll probably laugh at you, not to mention the fact that most warez-monkies are so ****ing illiterate and stupid they will simply respond with "" or something else that is equally moronic.
What's the best plan? Ignore them and let the mods take care of it, that way you dont seem like a total nazi, becuase that's exactly what you seem like, (MOM), and you dont get the warez-monkey all worked up.
BTW, that is one badass burger, I really really want it. :)don't post this kind of stuff again...Un4
