did you double check all of the power connections inside and the one on the back? it sounds like something is loose. cpu's dont work only sometimes like a crappy lawnmower :)
check that and then do the reseating thing that the other people suggested.
Guys, its fixed! It was the mobo. Please read the whole thread before you post. :p
After reading the whole thread ;) I think you may have bent the mobo a little bit with the uninstalling/installing and maybe cracked a trace or so.
