Well the problem is they don't have NO money, they have SOME. Yes, if you're dead broke you get treatment, but if you're in the middle class with no coverage, you're in big trouble. You can't afford the medical bills, but you make too much to get state sponsored aid. That's the situation they're in.
I wanted to give a quick shout out to www.modchipman.com for doing something awesome.
Why you ask? Well a while back I came across a contest modchipman was having for a free G6 combo pack.

Incase your not familiar, the g6 is a flash cart compatible with the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS lite systems that allows a user to play roms, movies, music, and carious PDA features. It essentially transforms your DS into a mini pocket pc.
Pete had mentioned on the blog that Ana was a gamer and was looking forward to the new pokemon dungeon That got me thinking "hey since I already have a g6 for my Nintendo DS lite and love it, wouldn't it be cool if I submitted an entry with Pete and Ana in mind and tried to win this for them."

Well it turns out it worked and I won the contest.

All the paper work is done and Ana should be receiving her new g6 combo pack in a week. Once again thanks for modchipman for doing this and best wishes go to Pete and his family.

Glad I could help! It's the 1st time I've ever donated, so I'm feeling very delighted at the moment. Thing is, I'm still financially dependant on my parents, but they were more than happy to donate for a such a cause.
