You going to go with colored tubing? or just a different dye?

You inspired me to redo my loop in a new case, I went with an Antec P280, swiftech micro-res, XSPC Rasa, Swiffy MCW60, D5, 360mm SSwiffy Rad, and 4 Gentle Typhoons. Going to try for a total internal build unlike my P182 external beast Ive been running for 4 years.

Nice man! Do a build up thread. I actually got the bitspower fittings from Sidewindercomputer for 5 dollars each. I ordered them on clearance, but they ran out of those so Gary substituted these for me at the same price. They are normally ~9 dollars each. I did order the pump acrylic top from jab-tech.

The res is an EK 250mm. I got it in a package deal bundled with the EK GPU waterblock.

I want to get some Gentle Typhoons, but it is hard to find them in stock. I was thinking about going with some 38mm deep fans instead. My rad has a large FPI, so strong fans are needed for optimal results.

Are you doing a GPU block too?

As for your other question. I am going to do colored tubing. Maybe primochill or Freser.

Did your EK res come with the anti cyclone insert? That should allow you to switch up the I/O and avoid any nonsese even with the inner tube locations

Im using an old MCW60 universal GPU block, I dont like paying for a new custom liquid plate for each new gpu.

It hurts at first, but they tend to keep their value really well. You can usually recoup 75% of the cost by selling it.

It does have the insert. I wanted to use the tube, but I will probably switch it around next time.

I have some updates.

I started working on the stealth install of the CD drive. Using the string method, I was able to cut the tabs off of the cover so that it would slide in and out of the bay.

Here is what the string method looks like half way done:

Some light sanding and it is ready to go. I used super glue to attach it to the CD tray. It is drying right now, but it looks really good. I'll have some more images of the finished product later.

Also, I decided I'm going to try sleeving my PSU and cables to make them look better. I'll catalog that process in future updates.

thats some funny stuff, It does look good.

Thought I would update everyone on some changes. I installed an aquacomputer 680GTX waterblock and was very impressed with the build quality. Although aquacomputer blocks are a bit more expensive than others such as EK, I went with them because of their impeccable build quality. The new EK lineup with all the circles etched on their acrylic looks ridiculous.

Idle temps were 34C, now they are 25C. Load temps were 80C, now they are 35C. Nice!! I'll throw up some pictures when I get a chance.
