you're on the last chapter...I just finished it today as well...awesome game...I also find it funny that though each level you'll see different episodes from each show...I wish there was more d ick justice though

Do you know how large MSDN library is? Visual Studio 6 / .NET? You are wrong....it saves ME switching CDs/DVDs between programs.

And yes....CloneCD, alcohol etc will get past those protection schemes for games and what not.

Didja know that with MSDN subscriptions you can actually DOWNLOAD the images and it is an MS FTP?

Have you heard of storing Ghost images on a hard drive for quick / easy networked installation? Didja know that images can be HUGE? Do you know what a fileserver is? OMG you guys are lacking greatly in creativity.

amazing game. I suck at Dead man walking though. can't get over 3 minutes on any map. :o

But on a more serious note, while you are here and knowledgible on the matter...Perhaps you can ellucidate for us how the use of some of the afore mentioned programs and how it is effective in increasing speeds. Does it require the use of Independent physical disk drives? can it be done from the same physical drive?? Are the images compressible? etc.

compared to payne I think they made mona look too old.
and she looks older in polygon mode than rustic drawing mode.

anyways I thought it was a bit short and payne is unstoppable.
sorta like black mamba in kill bill, gets shot in the head, gets up starts killing.

Step 1: Obtain the image of you the game/piece of software, either d/l or rip it.

Step 2: Use daemon tools, mount the image file (.iso or .bin/.cue)
Step 3: Daemon Tools creates a virtual, additional cd-rom drive on your computer. When you mount the image it is the same as if you had inserted the real cd into a real cd-rom drive. Read times are faster from a hard drive than from a cd so using the image from your hard drive is faster and more convenient then hunting for cds.

for max payne 2 and the like keyboard/mouse is the way to go, i couldnt imagine aiming and shooting with a gamepad

id rather have a 5 hour game that kicks major *** rather than a 20 hour game that is blah.
