Yeah, I received a tracking number and everything but it hasn't been entered into the FedEx system yet. I guess I'll wait and see if it actually happens or not. Supposed to be shipped out today if it does. Wouldn't it be crazy if they cancelled my order but by some mistake still sent me the card?
Yeah it usually takes them overnight to update the tracking for parcel companies. You would be one lucky SOB if that happened. I really dislike this whole waiting part. Hopefully I will find out soon. If they did make that mistake it would be a pretty darn cheap 9700p. :)Quote:

How do you sign up with FedEx so that they tell you that you have a package coming to you???
I think they are linked with z-buy.com's shipping department in someway actually.
I think sometimes Fedex gets notified of a pickup even if they dont have anything. hopefully you will get it.

Shipping I've seen usually works with the company notifying FedEx that there will be a pickup with a tracking number of XXXXXXXXXX. Once FedEx picks it up, it gets officially setup in their system. I don't know. Maybe I'll get lucky. Did anyone else that ordered this card get a FedEx shipping verification?
yeahw hats even wierder is that my bank account says that ive been charged twice by ... but z-buy says they cancelled my order??? im gonna give em a call
My CC hasn't even been charged yet. Hmmm...this story is getting more interesting by the minute.
EDIT: Just received another email from FedEx saying the shipping has been cancelled. Oh well...guess I don't get a new card after all :( I was so excited too...

Hope you guys dont think its my fault for showing you this deal :D. i wouldve ordered and not told anyone, but im not gonna build my new rig till i have all the $$ for it. looking at the 9700np tho very tempting.

Noooooooo way, I've had so many problems with this web site. Took me almost 2 months to get a good working board. They SUCK!!!
So is it pretty much confirmed that that 9700 Pro for $115 never panned out for anyone? Has anyone actually gotten their card? It seems like everyone here has gotten notification that their order was cancelled due to the card being out of stock.
If it ended up being a gimmick, then I'm both sad and happy. Sad that everyone who ordered got screwed out of a great deal, but happy that I wasn't oblivious enough to miss a $115 9700P.

I wonder how many they actually had in stock. I am smelling some illegal sales activity going on here. Odds are they never had any in stock and they were waiting for thread like this to form - free advertising.

Yes, Z-Buy should suffer some sort of consequences as a result of this garbage. It should be reported to the BBB and see where it goes from there. One of you who ordered should start the ball rolling on that.
My theory is that they had them in stock, ready to go, and someone mistakenly entered the price on the site as $115 instead of $215. Not wanting to sell them for so ridiculously priced, they conveniently say that they are "out of stock" and "will not be able to get anymore at that price ever again". Yes, that's what they told me in my email. Essentially, they gave themsevles a way out of honoring that price. Shady, shady, shady.
I do plan on writing them and asking them a few questions. No one that I know who ordered one will actually be getting one and that just seems wrong. They shouldn't have had it up on the site to begin with if they were out of stock and would not be getting anymore.

I also don't think they were trying to advertise because if anything, doing something like this only hurts their reputation.
It wouldn't have been a big deal if some of us that ordered it actually got word that it would ship at that price. The fact that NO ONE has gotten confirmation that they will receive this part is why it is so incredibly shady. I could understand if a few of us got it and others didn't because of limited stock. But come on, all of us getting rejected for out of stock and no stock ever coming back in? That is just too messed up.
Of course they did something wrong, they had a product on their site for sale at a certain price, received many orders for said product, and lied in order to get out of honoring those sales. How is that not wrong? :mad:Quote:
