I dont care for aa/af either. Once you upgrade your rig, your 3dmark score will double and fps in games will triple :D a64 looks tempting, even to me, but 20k marks will wait, I havent all the money to spend so soon after my last upgrade.

the screenshot will be 1600x1200 or 2048x1536. also I wont compress it or ill lose image quality. I will need voulenteers to host several megabytes of web space for just 24 hours. those screenshots will be very big uncompressed. as for buffalo ram, I have soured over that. tight timings? LOL I could get it to 133fsb max at 2-2-2-6 or 186 at 3-3-3-7 LOL that that was pc3200. I would be better off using my crucial pc2100 that does 160fsb at 2-2-2-11 LMAO!!!!!!!! no screenshots till my new ram comes, period
Buffalo usually will do 200 fsb at 11-3-2-2.0

Make sure you use fraps so we can see what kind of FPS you are getting. Anyone can run at a game at 2048x1536 and get 1-2FPS :) You're not going to be able to play FarCry at 1600x1200, even with medium details, and get above 15FPS on a Ti4200.Quote:

Tbird, try producing a screenshot with this quality over 25fps. Radeons/GFFX can do it easily, but I doubt yours can.

T-Bird, its so obvious that are full of crap that its not funny. Hell, you probably tried the demo, realized the Ti4200 can't do jack at that resolution, and are now hoping that new RAM will bring up your FPS.
Why no screenshot from your current system? It will take less time to take one and email it to Colossus then it would to do one run of Car Chase in 3DMark.
Whatever, I'll wait for it. I really want to see all this supposed performance!:eek: 16.5K in 3DMark should give you like 345,234,234,234 FPS and since its on a Ti4200...even more bragging rights!
farcry requires dx9 and I am not installing it for fear it might hurt my 3dmark performance before I have given up. this is why I want to make one last 3dmark run with my new ram before calling it quits and getting farcry and dx9
