Tom Clancy sale is very "meh" for me. I might have jumped on a huge bundle, with amazing savings, but this isn't that.

Might pick up Conviction for $7, havent played a Splinter Cell game since Chaos Theory.
The steam forums are riddled with threads of 'won't work' for the splinter cell series.
What's the DRM for the STEAM Splinter Cell games?
Does it still use StarForce or whatever that abysmal mess was called?
Ended up passing on Splinter Cell. Not that Im concerned with the price or DRM, just with my declining game time I have to pick and choose what games I play and alot of games dont make the cut. Seems to be happening alot with Steam sales lately, I just know I wont have time to play regardless of price
Exactly the way I've been looking at it. Two years ago I went nuts during the holiday sale. Still have yet to finish any of the games I bought. This year I didn't buy a single one. Every time a good deals comes up I put it in the cart and do something else for a couple minutes. Come back and the impulse is gone.
Daily Deal: VVVVVVV
Expires in 4 hours. This game is awesome and I recommend it.
COD: MW1 and 2 on sale for $15/$20 respectively. Cheapest Ive ever seen either game.
Both MW2 map packs are on sale for $7.50 as well.
Picked up "Red Faction Guerrilla" for $5 over the weekend. Really an addicting game. Some of it is getting repetitive, but the basic, destructible environment is really well done.
This is a 100% console game, so much so that I hooked up a joypad to be able to control the vehicles. Even so, the ability to run around Mars and tear everything down with a sledgehammer is loads of fun.
Well worth the $5. A great thing about playing games a couple of years after release is that they're all patched up. I read reviews stating that there were a lot of performance problems with Guerrilla, but I haven't run into any. My assumption is that patches long since solved such issues. The visuals are pretty good, not stellar but not bad. The physics are top notch, Half Life 2 level good. That's what makes the game. Everything blows up like it should, even the vehicles benefit from the superb physics model.
Two thumbs up on this one.
I concur, Red Faction Guerrilla is awesome.
Red Faction 1 was sooooo much fun back in the ol' 56K modem days. I'm glad to see that franchise has had some success.
It's been said that good writing always comes around.
I had a ton of fun with Guerrilla when it came out. Not worth the $65 I spent on it for sure, but still is a good game. A couple months back I played some multiplayer. Was still fun for sure. The multiplayer is way underrated. For those of you that still have it for the 360 I'd get down on it sometime with you.
installing it now to try out Mp. I heard it had a lot of issues running on STEAM. ANy of you run into problems?
40% off Darkspore. Looking over some customer comments, it looks like it might be a fun game.
Anyone willing to get in on a 4-pack for $23?
to fear or not to fear....................fear 1 & 2 + all dlc's...........$9.99, might grab this one!
and once again, bit by steam deals, bought capsized for $9, its now in a indie 5 pack with other quality games for $9.99, ouch:)
Definitely in for one of the indie packs, as I've been waiting for a Starscape sale for some time now.
Some decent stuff in the other one as well, though. Not too often they have indie packs on sale where I don't already own at least 2 of the games. Only own Machinarium from the first pack along with Zombie Driver and AaAaAA!!! from the second.
