:P Don't complain about your NB. If I had an NB like yours (not to mention your Barton), I could get 20k with my current cooling (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). ;) It's your video card that is holding you back, IMHO.Quote:

It's a Built by ATI 9800 Pro. The kicker is that, even at 475/400, I was only getting slight artifacting (I mean, I could count the number of white dots at one time with two hands). Of course, this was using my ghetto mod (AMD stock fan instead of the Radeon's fan :)). I wonder how far I could have gotten. I just stopped because my CPU was really sweating and I knew I had beaten you (or so I thought :p).Quote:

I would sell it, except I'd lose the amazing warranty I have on it (3 years, no questions asked [I could drop this thing on the ground and smash it], fully transferable [so if they give me a replacement, the warranty is transferred to the new card] warranty :D). Booya. :cool:

I know you can break 20K. It's time for water cooling. Even if for your vid card only, grab a MCW50-T, a rad, and a pump. Thats all you need.:)

Well atleast it wasnt anything to expensive this time :) So now I am in the market for a new drive...

I blew my IC7-G.:) I had to get another one.
It was fine and I took it out the other day to switch out the NB HSF and put on a ThermalTake Tiger 1 and the damn thing never booted up again. I have no idea what happened. Possibly I ESDed it. Who knows. I wasn't gonna say anything but who cares.:)
Got another one anyway. I tested it to make sure it works and swapped the NB HSF with no problems this time. Just waiting for my prommy to put it all back together now.
I think my fried hardware total is over $1000 for the last 6 months. That sucks!!:)

Thats why I added more mods to my 9800 and have a prommy coming. I'm hoping for 23.5K now.
I'm sure someone will pop off with a 5900 soon. It won't be long.
