sabrewolf,i took off the stock shroud amd crappy fan and replace it with 2 80mm's on the front and 2 80's on the bac of the card. and i dont think you'll hit 2.7 on a zalman ripoff...;) as for CH-5's mine are doing 240 stable with 3.3 volts.

my load temp is 53c at 1.94v and 2.5Ghz :p 75f room temp. My cooler is pretty good:D My buddy's 2600m does 2.6 at 1.75v, 2.7 at 1.85. I would say 2.7 1.85=2.5 1.94 in heat output. also, what can you do with 3.2v? as thats all my an7 allows for, alot on amdmb forums are hitting 250fsb with their an7 and bios with nfinity romsip tables. did modding the vga silencer help you at all? Im assuming its the vga silencer rev 3 right?Quote:

yes it is but I dont know what ram chips I got (they are covered by copper ram sinks and are on with epoxy) so I cant. Besides differance between 9800pro and 9800 np is that the bios gives the 9800p more voltage. Ima try volt modding when I feel lucky, hopefully I will hit 480/350 :p Then Im positive ill break 21k:D With voltmod and new ram Im aiming for 23k XDQuote:

480 on the core for a 9800 np? thats alot more than what most 9800s do.. i gained about 20 mhz on the core from the mod. My 2500+ is horrible compared to the 2600+, i can only do 2.7 with water and i need sub zero temps to get to 2.8:eek:
well I do 420 now, stock 9800np bios, which uses less voltage than a 9800pro and a good bit less than a 9800xt. I wouldnt be surprised if i get 480Quote:

the XT bios is only a very tiny bit more voltage compared to the 9800 . i flashed to XT and the only thing i gained was temp sensing and 300 points in 03
why did xt give you more points/??? what does it change besides volt and temp sensing?
Xt's just score hgiher in 03 because of soem features i guess.i went from 72xx to 75xx and now i'm at 7800 ish
9800np only uses less mem voltage, the core voltage is the same. My non-pro did 470core with the NP bios, 470 core with Pro bios, and 470core with the XT bios.Quote:

the max memory speed skyrocketed from about 335 to 412. Of course it was only capable of that with the E-die Pro bios. With the XT bios it was down around 400.Quote:

I bought it used so I dont know how old it is, meh I think I should just be happy, who cares about 400pts. What does it matter to me if I get 19.664k or 20k. LOL I say that now but I bet ill have my card vmodded by the end of the week :p :DQuote:
