Today was actually going to be the day (:))... but I had forgotten that my Antec PSU (AMD rig).. doesnt play nice with my 9700PRO :(. And I didnt realize that till I had everything installed.. and the say the checkered screen! lol.
So that's going to have to wait alittle more :).

My Antec never had any issues with the 9700PRo...

Well, I got my score up to 19313 but I'm not gonna submit it till I do a format and a couple other things. I've just been playing with a few settings and it did help by about 200 points. Hopefully a format and leaving off DX9 and SP1 will up it a little more:) I'll give in to the fact that I aint never gonna crack 20k though:(

No no... I was aware that it had they didn't like eachother. But I had temoporarily forgotten that I had switched out PSU's on my rig's... so I was under the impression that my Enermax was STILL in my AMD rig... lol. Looks like Im going to have to get rid of this Antec pp412X... even though it was a GreAT PSU! With adjustable rails and everything... ::sighs:: :(
You can mod your enermax to have adjustable rails. I modded mine and it was easy.:)Quote:

The new Zalman looks pretty tight for an Air cooler. I wouldn't mind using it if I didn't know how much better water and pelts are.:)

You've got enough CPU power to break 20K. It's that vid card core of 430 that is holding you back. If you could get that up to 480 you'd be breaking 20K.
Are you running stock cooling on that 9800? If you are, you need to immediately get something better, like that Zalman.
Also, what is your 5v rail like? The 9700/9800 cards (not to mention AMD CPUs) LOVE having lots of juice on the 5v rail. I have mine running at 5.3 volts under full load. It helps stable out those high OCs.
