The other day I finished Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack! which was pretty fun. Not particularly difficult but if you want to rescue all of the friends then there's some tricky platforming that needs to be done.
Now I'm playing Beyond the Beyond, also known as one of the worst JRPGS of all time, if not THE worst. I have a bit of a thing for playing bad games sometimes. A few hours in now and I have to say, as is the case with what seems like 99% of RPGs from the PS1 era, save states help the game out a lot. Still have to deal with a huge random encounter rate, for instance, but knowing you can save state before you try to run away so that you can basically get away 100% of the time makes the game bearable. Having Samson cursed for 90% of the game is still a god awful idea, though.
