Portal 2 on PS3 is actually going to have Steam Cloud support, so it's a little more than just the game. That's what made Gabe's announcement there significant.

Check the link, its not just the game but also Steam Cloud. It shows Valve software is being moved to consoles and that even part of the Steam system is making its way as well.
I'm just saying you can't really say:
When Valve is in fact releasing a game and part of the steam system on a console. It may not go anywhere, but judging from the positive response, I think its going to be a very successful partnership and might lead to more Steam services on PS3. The fact that head of Valve presented the news shows me that Valve is very serious about getting their software on the PS3.Quote:

Just bought that Monkey Island complete pack. I hope it's good. I also hope it's not as bad as Monkey Island 4. That game was a mess. Good deal still at 4.99 though. Here's the link...

Tango down anyone?
I am thoroughly enjoying deathspank, I'm surprised its not talked about more on here. Torchlight was all the rage, Deathspank is like that but much better and only 15 bucks.
I loved Deathspank, one of the few games I've gotten 100% on. I haven't picked up ToV yet but I will before the month is out to take advantage of the 800 pts back, just waiting on Costume Quest.
I want costume quest so bad. My yearning knows no bound.
I got tango down..it's pretty fun. My main complaint is no way to communicate with other players. There's a lobby match system, so any mode other than TDM is out of the question as you just sit and wait for at least 6 ppl to show up to start a match. The most any other mode got to after waiting 15 min in domination mode was 4 ppl. TDM was full every game I played and it is pretty fun..except no in game chat. I'd like to try the coop mode, but you can only invite ppl that are on your GFWL friends list...so another strike against it. If you want something to compare it to it's like MW, Fear and BF2142 all put together. There are a TON of customizations..I mean a ton. 4 weapon loadouts that you can customize to your liking. You unlock stuff by ranking up. The weapons you can change the barrel, sights, magazine, color pattern and stock for all weapons. There are SMGs, Assault Rifles, Sniper rifles, Shotguns, and Light machine guns. And pistols are 9mms, .45s and revolvers. You upgrade your armor as you level and have a zillion color schemes that unlock.
Okay, figured out voip. It's through GFWL. Since I had all the voice turned off because we use ventrillo when playing Dawn of War II...and hearing everything twice is annoying. I also had the playback redirected to my HDMI sound as a secondary precaution. I fixed all that and the voice works in the game, but while in the game you can't tell who it is coming from. You do only hear your teammates, which is good though.
Tried some coop on backlight last night with squirrel meat. It was actually pretty fun. The ai is tough in some parts and the level design is pretty good. The coop reminds me a lot of rainbow 6 Vegas coop.
Batman Arkham is on sale. I really wish it was more like 9.99. It's frustrating knowing that they used to hand this game out free with new video cards. I can't convince myself to pay 13 for it.
I want to buy it but I'm not sure. I figure when part 2 comes out it'll be out for even less. I dunno I have so many games to beat ATM.
steam sale all week on thq titles
today is titan quest/immortal throne $5, i think most here have it, if not get it, well worth it
