Also, what is your 5v rail like? The 9700/9800 cards (not to mention AMD CPUs) LOVE having lots of juice on the 5v rail. I have mine running at 5.3 volts under full load. It helps stable out those high OCs.
BTW, my score's up to 19638, vpu actual core/mem : 435mhz/362mhz;) and cpu : 218x11=2398mhz, can't post my score yet as the Futuremark's server is under maintainence:mad: .
See? You're getting up there. You'll hit 20K soon and damn if that's not a good feeling when you first see it pop up on the screen.:D
Anyways, to check your 5V rail, go into your bios and see what the 5 volt line is actually reading. Most mobos have a section in the bios called "Health Status" or someting like that. That's where you will find it.:)
In a pinch, something I have done before is to turn your whole PC upside down so your Vid card core is facing up, not down like usual.
Now you can remove the stock cooling and just set an old CPU HSF on the core for some quick and dirty improved cooling. That should get you at least 20 more mhz on your core.:)

Since your AMD is only at 2.4ghz, I'd put your 9800 in that Intel system and OC it. You'll definitely break 20K that way.:)Quote:

I don't know how you can get that close and take a break.:) I couldn't do that.
If you wanna break 20K do this.
Run the tests in this order:
1. Nature
2. Dragothic
3. Lobby
4. Car
Dragothic and Lobby get worse scores on the second run, so only run them once. Nature and Car do not get worse on the second run.
Therefore, run them all once in that order. Then at the end, save your project so you can upload it later. Then run Car again and see if your score goes up, if it does, save the project again with a different name. Now run car again and save the project each time your score is higher and keep doing this till you max out.
The thing is, on Car test you sometimes get a bum run for no reason. In fact you often do. This way you can ensure your score is with a good Car run.
I discovered this trick and it often works to snag you up to 50-100 more points.:)

No way round it as I'm getting artifacting, @221x11 (ran OK at 220x11), no amount of coaxing, tweaking (Hell! I even tried sweet-talking to 'her' but she statefastly refused to let me go any further!:mad: OMG, THAT didn't come out right:o ) When I've changed my NB and mount the Zalman, 20k here I come!:D Actually I'm just happy to be part of the team and in top 5!;) :)Quote:
