I lived with my aunt and uncle for about the first half of this year, and they have satellite so I got to watch it over there. I really enjoyed watching the NFL Combine. I can't watch the combine, maybe if I followed college football... but its just boring to me.

Directv also gets the NFL network and you don't need a special sports package either. Yes and Gumble does suck.

What's wrong w/ their HD service? I have it and so far no probs. They have an intro price of $200 that includes HD DVR. I'm sure Dish may be cheaper then that, but unfortunately Dish doesn't have the Sunday Ticket. If they did I would never have left Dish.

Yeah my cable company has no option for NFL network either.

We used to have DirectTV but it really sucked when we have storms here in Florida in the summer.

Well the good news is that the Colts D seemed to play a hell of a lot better. I really want the Colts and Tony Dungy to win the superbowl. And I hate seeing QBs as good a Manning and Marino not get a ring, while the Trent Dilfers of the world have one.

According to them it would extend my contract by 2 years, cost $100 for the receiver, I think like $40 for installation, and I think one more fee. Its mostly the 2 year contract extension that I dont like.

The concept of the NFL Network is great, and very profitable, but if they dont get their **** together I dont think its going anywhere in the next few years.

So anyways back to football, screw the NFL Network. Lets talk playoffs here, who do we all think is going in and who isnt (Wild card people, I already know the teams that are already in duh)
To tell the truth, I have no flippin clue who might go in for the AFC but Ill pick the Bengals and Jags. Broncos i have some serious doubts about vs. the Bengals even the the Bengals arent THAT great of a team..

afc championship is bolts and colts, LT shows everyone just how terrible indy's rush defense really is, then they choke against the bears in the superbowl....SD chokes again, like always.

Everyone already knows how bad the colts rush defense is. considering LT is 10 times the RB all of those guys are combined it wouldn't be out of the question to see him run for 300 yards and 5 scores if they ran the ball 30 to 35 times....

bolts will choke, I feel bad for LT - who deserves everything that comes his way, but chokenheimer's playoff record is abysmal, he is the peyton manning of coaches...he can't get it done....combine that with the chargers history of choking and you have one giant choke from the best team in the NFL. They look unstoppable though.

Ok Phillip Rivers in, Tom Brady out (of the pro-bowl). I'm not sure about this one. Tom Brady has lost his two top receivers and his O-line sucks. Rivers has LT to keep the big pressure off of him. I'm happy for Rivers, but shocked that Brady got left out. On a lighter note, TO didn't get in either! Yes I know he has 10 TD's, but he's a cancer to the NFL and got what he deserved- to be snubbed!

i wrote the nfl an email about how tying an nfl fan to a TV delivery service that gets crummy during bad weather is ridiculous. why couldnt they make an nfl package that we could buy from whatever provider we have as an add-on?
