I was getting lower scores so I did not update it. That was fixed with the 5.6's and GPU block. I'm still about 300 points behind the 6800GT@Ultra in 2k3.Quote:

Ive read that the 5.6's actualy kinda suck, even after all this anticipation of them being really good...

I think a Chinese site posted the '05 score for the 7800GTX, about 50% more than a 6800U I think. Here's the link :

so the 7800gtx is indeed 50% faster than the 6800u? If the 6800u scores 6k than the 7800gtx gets 9k! Thats hard to believe since the 7800gtx is basically a 24 pipe verson of the 6800gt and we know 50% more pipes does NOT mean 50% more performance, maybe 15-20% as for price they say $550 msrp but could be $800 the first month if supply is tight

I sorta wanna grab 2 g70's... i have the money to do it.... but then again theres that one thing.... oh yea, an apartment. Its tought choices, if i can get 2 for less than 900 i may do it.
hey mikeysg... theres a slight error in the sharky extreme 3dmark database. i wasnt useing the cooling that you have listed... i was using icewater.
also the part that says A64 3700+ San Diego @3.0ghz, can you change to just A64 3700+
I've edited the '@3ghz' part, but to do a good job about cooling solutions used, please provide me with details of what you've used for both CPU and GPU....sorry, I'm rather 'anal' about this sorta thing. :o :DQuote:
