Im gonna try to take #2 on 01 back, but 03 and 05 will be out of question without sli.
so i got my prommy installed and running :p 3.8ghz rock stable now.
i was able to do a screenshot at 4.1ghz.
One question for the old school overclockers here: how much voltage (max) should i put through my processor (northwood) since i now have a unmodded prometeia mach 2 ?
since i don't have the money right now, i'm only able to buy a 6800nu :p (it will arrive friday or monday :p)
here is the screenshot :p

I think you should be able to go higher, how many volts do you have right now?
I know the cpuz thing is not correct.
i have a really bad processor and motherboard....Quote:

I'm using 1.75volts (1.7 effective) for everyday usage and took the 4.1ghz screenie with 1.8 (1.75 effective)

Um...who is taking the emails now?
nice nature, thermo but you really need an a64, your getting half the car high of an a64. Youd gain like 10k marks with a cpu upgrade! $599 for a gpu upgrade would go nice with even a $150 venice upgrade ;)
I still have the FX SOMEONE COULD BUY IT FROM ME Naw, they are just to slow when you throw a lot of stuff at them all at once. They bench nice but when they are old and grey, they are don't like mundane admin work loads. It'll pick up quite a lot when I get the cooling intalled  When I saw that it was as high as any Intels posted, I just had to put it up :DQuote:

I dont have $800, sorry man and besides my computer is already faster than yours, I get easy 130+ in car high with this Venice at 2.45 while your in the 70s on your p4. I dont understand why your downgrading bigtime cpu wise but thats your loss. Of course I retired from 3dmark so im not gonna run it again, my 3dmark hdd doesnt work right anyway, not gonna reinstall win2k and 3dmark on that hdd. I may upgrade my cpu again when I can get a Diego cheap that overclocks over 3GHz on air to further boost my 3dmark and gaming fps.
$500 bucks for the EE $1000+ for the new FX. I'll go DC at some point after the bugs get worked out. But for now I'll play with this one.Quote:

25k with a 7800gtx... somethings wrong!
