I think your giving the Raiders too much credit...remember, the Broncos did play them 3 weeks ago as well and beat them (barely). Yes, we will cry for Cutler DURING the game if Plummer throws 2, 3 picks and makes bad passes all game, but we wont cry for Cutler the day after the game, because us Bronco fans are quite a bit more humble than you might expect.
It's well documented why the raiders have the #1 pass defense and it isn't because of talent. I live in the bay area and have been a raiders fan (which is actually quite embarrassing) forever. They go beyond stink. I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money that if the broncos are down by 6 points w/ 40secs to go w/ the ball on their own 5 yardline, they'd be able to march right down the field and score a td...yes even w/ Puker...er Plummer. Their defense overall isn't that bad, but nowhere near being #1 in pass like the stats would suggest.Quote:

Football just seems really bland overall this year, college and NFL. Looking over the scores for the games today, I realized how little I actually care. I've been doing laundry all day and I haven't missed watching the games at all. There are a few interesting things out there, but I mostly just feel indifferent.
Anybody else feeling a down year?
I honestly feel exactly the opposite, I love how any team can win at any time and I just overall love watching football. Rutgers and New Orleans are such fun to watch and cheer for.

Jay Cutler was born in Santa Claus, IN...the bronco fans are ready for a present....so far, plummer has been a fat lump of coal in the fans stocking.
now a 4th int, 3rd by washington...the refs robbed him of it, that is one of the clearest 2 feet in bounds plays ever and they straight up said incomplete WOW!!!!!! he had both in bounds clearly, everyone agreed, but he got robbed so thats 4 picks for plummer.
