No, I was trying to reseat the core with some AS3.. It always felt a little loose before...
I am looking at the fan and it looks like I wont be able to get a soldering iron in there... I would burn up a few props first...
I will see what I can do.
If you take out those 3 little screws holding the fan in and take it out of the Heatsink you might be able to get to it from behind.

You should have seen the mirror finish on that P4 I fried. Underneath the heatspreader was the most perfectly mirrored thing I think I have ever saw.:)

If it was me I would just break off that 1 plastic leg that the wires are routing through. Then you should be able to solder it.

Well I got it all soldered back.. I had to melt some of the back plastic away to get a better angle....
I havent received my MCW50-T It has been a VERY long time.. I need to call... I was suppose to call about a week ago, but I get home sometimes from work so late :(
But if worse case senario.. I might just get a 3rd party aftermarket cooler for it...
