Ryder let me tell ya, get a SLK-948U or something that uses the two mounting holes. Then take the IHS off and you'll see temperatures that are quite a bit lower than you could get by just getting a good HSF. Of course, WC would be another story. I'll post a pic of the inside of the IHS. The crap they use for the interface between chip->IHS is absolute crap. It's like all crusty and brittle.
I am getting temps from 30c at rest up to 46c under load with the swift/delta set up. It works well, if you can stand the sound.Quote:

But I will need a new place to live. So now I guess I can pick where ever I want to live within CA :) I am still not trying to think of the super wet hot heat in NY vs super DRY hot heat in CA. I prefer it dry and so does my computers :P
