:( FC3 co-op was a poor shooting gallery with weird driving segments interspersed. FC4 gives you the full open world to play around in.
I just started playing Dragon Age Inquisition. I'm enjoying the scope of the game and the story is so far so good. As for the multiplayer it is a cheesy mess but quite enjoyable.
Took a break from more lengthy games and played FarioVSWatario to pass time. Didn't take it me long to complete it but it was pretty fun nonetheless, I quite liked the graphics and the gameplay was decent. Now time for unpacking Dragon Age at long last.
I just got KOTOR 2 and have put on the "restored content" mod which supposedly fixes and improves everything. Looking forward to playing it although annoyingly it does not support 1366x768 so I can't play it fullscreen :o The original KOTOR did iirc.
Previously played Tex Murphy Tesla Effect. 6/10. Starts well, goes downhill in the second half.
Just beat Dragon's Crown! It's been over a year since me and my friends started playing this one but we finally got together yesterday with the intention of beating the game and we did! It took us almost an hour to take down the final boss! Aaaaand then it told us we had to do it all over again twice to truly beat the game.
Overall I think it's a great game but the local co-op features feel like they were tacked on at the end. Everything we did in town took 3x as long as it needed to be because each of us needed to enter the store on our own to repair equipment, each of us needed to equip things on our own because the inventory takes up the full screen, each of us needed to enter the adventurer's guild on our own to pick up quests and buy new skills, etc. Also, when playing local co-op, only the first player actually advances the story, so the other players don't get things like runes or extra bags which are pretty important. All that said, the game is great even with those annoyances.
I love DC. I've best a couple of times. The dungeon tower you unlock is were the end game is at. It basically takes all the stages, enemies, and traps, and mixes them all up into randomly generated levels.
Just beat Dragon Age: Origins! It was okay!
I don't like the game's aesthetic. It's just not interesting to look at and that made the frequent repetitive encounters even harder to get through. The stories and characters were mostly good.
I just got an Xbox One. :D I got the AC bundle and traded in my ps3 since it was no longer being used. I picked up Titanfall and Ryse Legendary edition. So now I'm splitting time between my PS4 and the Xbox one. Right now I'm playing through Ryse, which I'm enjoying so far. Anyone have it and want to play some multiplayer in the arena just hit me up.
Well maybe if you had of played it when it came out instead of 30 years later... you wouldn't have minded it as much. :p
I tried playing it when it came out and was bored out of my mind 6 hours in so I stopped playing. I decided to pick it up again recently because I wanted to play Inquisition but didn't want to miss out on anything I might have missed from the first game (I haven't played 2 yet and now that I'm playing Inquisition I realize I should probably play 2).
It's a good game but there's some serious pacing issues.
Thats because you refused my good advice and went with Human.
I said they were BORING for a reason.
Pretty much.
I must have restarted DA:O 6 times already. Never could finish it. I only tried human (mage and rogue) so maybe I should give the dwarves a go.
The whole Origin story is better. The dwarves aren't friendly ale guzzling laggards in Origins, they are basically sawed off Klingons with the machiavellian political maneuvering that comes with it.
So I suggested you take dwarf royal for a reason.
1) The beginning is better (a lot better).
2) The Deep Roads (the part everyone hates) and the return to your home city is more intriguing as all the other races.
3) Did I mention that Humans are boring?
4) Sex Scenes with a short bearded dwarf are hilarious.
5) Seriously Humans are booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring.
I just finished putting about 200 hours into Tales of Vesperia. Old Tales series game from early Xbox 360 days. It was fun, but like many JRPG's had a lot of time wasting side stuff.
Next up is Tomb Raider I think.
Finished up Just Cause 2 and Saints Row 3 since my last entry. JC2 was just awesome and I cannot wait for 3. SR3 was actually not too bad. I played the first Saints game and didn't care for it so I stopped playing. Skipped 2, but since 3 was a free game a few months back thought I'd give it a shot. Glad I did. Although I have to admit I put it on easy difficulty about half way through. Some of the side missions were just brutal to complete. I'm older now so bragging rights no longer affect me. If I have to play on easy to enjoy it...so be it. I'm too cranky about other things to be cranky about games.
Next up:
Dunno....gotta work 9 of the next 13 days then I'm off for 8 after that. We'll see what happens. :)
JC2 is one of my favorite go to games to just mess around in.
SR3 I didn't like very much to be honest, but I'll admit I didn't give it much of a chance. SR4 however had me laughing from the very beginning and once I'm done with FC4 it looks like its going to suck up a lot of time.
